Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: exrider on February 04, 2007, 07:30:12 PM Get the Z!
The girls don't shave, and the weather sucks. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: bocephus300 on February 04, 2007, 07:30:34 PM go man.. i just graduated and my friends are still talkin about the euro trip. i took the quad
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Hondabeefast on February 04, 2007, 08:05:17 PM get a quad....it will offer more fun than a trip
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: 1FasterBlaster on February 04, 2007, 08:33:34 PM You can always travel again when your old.Enjoy the life with a quad now!!
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: xr100racer on February 04, 2007, 08:39:36 PM brand new 400ex? dont be a puss, get a 450, make it a ltr450
or yfz, honda just pretty much sucks so stay away they spontaneously combust Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: k.p. on February 04, 2007, 08:44:49 PM yeah id like a 450 but thats too much money. well see..i was plannin on joinin the airforce. which has like been my dream since my bro joined 8 years ago and the asi in rotc says you get to travel all over the place in the military so...im not sure lol.but if i do choose the quad which would you guys recommend
oh and actually i do have a quad hence my name "warriordude" Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: xr100racer on February 04, 2007, 08:52:37 PM 15? you can handle it just fine you will get borred with the 400 real quick and regret not stepping up to the 450 if you can ride a warrior then you can ride a 450
I rode a 450 today and those things are slow, just get a raptor Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: MadMudder on February 04, 2007, 09:17:07 PM Hey man, look at it this way. You could spend 2 weeks doing something you can do when your an adult. You can also take the cance of getting bad weather or a bad exprience. Or you can get a quad that is going to provide you with years of enjoyment and fun.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Fox17 on February 04, 2007, 10:10:54 PM did you even really have to ask? thats a no brainer. get the 400EX. cant go wrong with a honda. i know some people say that hondas suck but they are just mad cause they dont have them and they had to settle with inferrior bikes.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: 1FasterBlaster on February 04, 2007, 10:16:25 PM The quad you choose depends on what you want it for and how you ride.I started on a Blaster for about a year and a half.I've had a LTZ modded out for about 2 years now.I'm a trail rider, but I ride fast and just recently entered the Quad scrambles.
Sometimes I feel the desire for more power, But I think it's mostly peer pressure.I think a 450 is only needed if your gonna race on a track.I have Hot Cams and it gives me a hell of a lot more torque.I can keep up with some 450's very well and I'm satisfied with it. All ATV brands have their perks. The pro's ride all of them, the choice in brand is yours. If you just want to look like a bad azz cause your on a 450, then fine.Start small and then go big...that's the right way to learn how to ride!! Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: MedicMudder on February 04, 2007, 10:18:05 PM Hey man I am old enuf to be your dad!! I say take the quad!!
You can take the trip some other time. Nothing overthere cept euro trash, mad muslims that hate us. Yea the weather is crappy ??? Have fun while you are youn and healthy.Be carefull enjoy life. :P I hope you enjoy the new quad what ever one you get!! Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: MadMudder on February 04, 2007, 10:21:09 PM I agree. Nobody needs anything bigger then a 400. A 400 ute can tow anything your supposed to tow with a quad and a 400 race quad can race anybody else. The 450s is just a icon and something like an 800 is just about as ridicluos as how I spelled that. But your definitly better off with the quad. But then again its like asking if you should go hunting or buy a car on a hunting site....
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Bigscrb15 on February 04, 2007, 10:54:58 PM I say go to Europe. You already have a quad to get you by until you join the airforce. Im only 22 and I think too many kids aren't cultured enough. I was raised at a beach resort so I had people around me from many countries. It was the best thing that ever happened to me., next to gettin married. I have also been to quite a few places. I think traveling is one of the best things for a young person to do.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: gery350 on February 04, 2007, 11:01:44 PM def. europe. those are the memories you will take with you when you get old. your only young once and might as well enjoy it with yer buddies. you can always get a 4 wheeler later but you probably wont get the chance to go on a school eurotrip ever again.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: LakeMaryKid on February 04, 2007, 11:12:26 PM Go to Europe....get the hot female classmate a lil frisky and bang a few of em. You already have a quad.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: gearhead400 on February 04, 2007, 11:39:21 PM Go to Europe....get the hot female classmate a lil frisky and bang a few of em. You already have a quad. AGREED! Plus, going to europe isnt something everyone gets to do, good memories. You have quad and it will be there when you get back. And besides, you'll want the 450 (trust me) and this will give you more time to save up. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: MadMudder on February 05, 2007, 12:04:56 AM Look all im saying is that a trip to Europe at best will give you some memories and pictures while a quad can give you even more and probably better memories and years of enjoyment. I think thats worth missing something that you can do later on in life when your more mature and would enjoy it more...
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Fox17 on February 05, 2007, 12:40:42 AM why would anybody go to europe instead of getting a new quad. the quad will give you more better memories than a trip to some stupid foreign country. i have had all the best memories in my life on a dirt bike or quad for the most part. i hate vacations/trips (thats just me i guess). if you do join the airforce, then you will travel to many different places anyway.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: honda guy250 on February 05, 2007, 02:06:26 AM considering he a;ready has a quad i would go on the trip. i wouldny trade my meories with my friends for anything, nor the memories on m quad but no matter what you say to each other or think you and your friends will start to seperate, trust me i m going through this now. you have many years left to work and ride. go on the trip, then save some more and get a new quad. or just put the money into the warrior. i know ihate hearing stories from my friends where i wasnt there and i could have been. that my 2 cents.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: LakeMaryKid on February 05, 2007, 08:42:02 AM Your only young once, therefore you can only hit all the young hot euro girls now. That wont happen when your older. Those quads arent gonna reject you when your older. Young hot frisky girls will. Like i said go to europe and rail as many girls as possible.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: 1FasterBlaster on February 05, 2007, 08:51:37 AM Young hott azz is here to, why go thousands of miles away for that.Do you like hairy armpits?Besides, traveling with somone you love is better than with friends...they always seem to wanna do what they want and put you on missions.
Culture is something you enjoy more when your older and more mature.Read a book, then go look at buildings with funny shapes!! Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Joedirt on February 05, 2007, 09:13:45 AM Take the trip , when you are older you will not find the time to go to Europe...trust me....you can always buy a 4 wheeler....
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: digginfool on February 05, 2007, 09:28:30 AM Take the trip. You already have a quad and when you're older you'll kick yourself a million times for not doing it. Enjoy your youth and the luxury of spare time.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Anoriginal on February 05, 2007, 10:04:55 AM Are you kidding me????? To even think about the bike verses Europe is insane! Go to Europe!
The history and experience of seeing first hand countries and cultures thousands of years old is invaluable by itself. With so much change going on in the world, you need to take advantage of it now! Go experience and create memories to last a lifetime. You've got a bike already. Getting a new bike now verses going on that trip is trivial. The trip can only make you a better, more rounded person. You can get a better bike later. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Kawa3 on February 05, 2007, 12:38:56 PM Are you kidding me????? To even think about the bike verses Europe is insane! Also I have always wanted to go to europe so... Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: xr100racer on February 05, 2007, 12:44:30 PM Heres an idea....... Go on the trip AND buy the 400ex
go to europe sell me the warrior for $500 put a $500 down payment on the 400ex and finance the rest get a job to take care of the monthly payment, it will be cheap like only $100 a month you can handle it Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Loven It on February 05, 2007, 12:57:35 PM Take the trip...I know folks are saying you can go when you get older. Lets just say I graduated in 96 didn't go to Cancun..parents were going to pay for it. It is now 2006 and I still haven't gone. Why the older you get the more expenses you have and you probably won't make it to Europe until you are in your late 40's...thats if you don't have kids or other obligations that can hold you down once your out of school.
You have a quad...sell it and get what you want. Keep it get a nice job - if you don't have one and buy whatever you want. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: FIVE-O on February 05, 2007, 12:59:46 PM Easy choice, take the trip.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: PREDOCROSS on February 05, 2007, 01:32:59 PM Absolutely the trip. You're 15, soon you'll have a car and your quad will collect dust for a few years while you chase girls and go to college. By the time you are ready to go riding again, the quads will be twice as good......do the trip. ;)
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: xr100racer on February 05, 2007, 01:46:41 PM where you ride at predocross?
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: klutchbuster400 on February 05, 2007, 02:00:21 PM Well being that your quad breaks every weekend lol, I would say the quad, but hanging out with good friends in another country with little supervision just sounds awesome.
Go for the trip man, you'll be happy later, its not hard to get a job and save up money for a quad, a bit of a challenge to go to europe on your own. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: xr100racer on February 05, 2007, 03:15:29 PM Oh, your going with your class and your 15....defiantly get the quad. The supervision is going to be crazy, it will be like a field trip...single file line, dont touch, you cant have that, get away from there, etc You wont have any fun and you will cry at night. Dont waste your money it will be a big disapointment and you will regret it and the weather will suck and it will be a horrible misfortunate event filled with sorrow, the plane could even crash and think about how your parents would be morning your loss and all your relatives at the funeral.
But if you were going with just your friends and staying in hotels and partying and doing whatever you want, staying out at the bars and such then it would be badass. When all your friends come back and tell you how crappy of a time they had and what a waste of money it was and they ask you what you did while they were gone you can show them your shiny new LTR450 8) Then all the hot girls from your class will be begging to ride it and they will be naked Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: k.p. on February 05, 2007, 03:40:15 PM Oh, your going with your class and your 15....defiantly get the quad. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: MadMudder on February 05, 2007, 03:56:15 PM Ok heres what I want to know, what is so frekin great about europe. WTF is so great that he would want to ditch a quad and go there. Its just a bunch of old buldings and crap like that. I guess its just personal preference but seriously, I dont see what make is so great. I woudnt take a trip there if somebody paid for it. The weather is terrible year round, espically during the winter, nobody shaves and other then just saying you went, there is no point in going. I like how allot of adults are saying go because your young but im the same age as you and personally I think you would enjoy it more when your older and actally know WTF your looking at. The bottom line is that you would enjoy the quad allot more then a trip.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: xr100racer on February 05, 2007, 04:01:40 PM You should join www.gotoeuropeinsteadofatvingflorida.com
but seriously, if you go, just watch out for the killer spider monkeys Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Anoriginal on February 05, 2007, 04:14:58 PM Oh, your going with your class and your 15....defiantly get the quad. Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: k.p. on February 05, 2007, 06:59:45 PM actually my bro's class(06) went to amsterdam.although that prolly wasnt a good idea.but europe will be quite a while from now. actually we have 15 months to pay. the long wait is because it takes a while for people to save up 3k plus spending money.oh and im goin to d.c. w/ my rotc unit so ill take pic's up there and post em too.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: #32YammiMan on February 05, 2007, 08:46:05 PM The things I could build with 3k......

Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Toomey on February 07, 2007, 03:32:00 PM Take the trip for sure. There's nothing wrong with a Warrior, and if you were to get a new bike, I'd get a 400ex, since they're so reliable and still have plenty of performance. It's up to you whether you want to drag race or to ride fast through trails. How good you ride is much more important. But take the trip for sure man, this is a one chance thing. When you're older you'll have money for quads and whatever kinda things you want to do. But this trip is something that you'll remember for ever, and you really benefit as a person probably, seeing what the rest of the world is like. I am also joining the military, leaving on June 4th for boot camp. One of the reasons is that I want to leave Florida and see some other places, meet other people, just get away from the boring same old stuff everyday. This trip is good because you'll see different things, and you'll be with friends. And I don't see why everybody is saying to fool around with some foreign girls, that's a dumb idea period. Just go on the trip, and keep riding your Warrior, and get your new quad when you're 17 or so.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: MadMudder on February 07, 2007, 08:30:23 PM Well I guess is all a matter of personal oppinion. I wouldnt go to Europe if somebody paid for everything. But thats just my oppinion. I just hope your happy with whatever decision you make...
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: Sleazy_Rider78 on February 07, 2007, 11:57:01 PM Go to Europe. Telling a girl in Europe you are an American is like having an automatic panty remover button. Kinda like the Staples Easy button. I guarantee you will be saying "that was easy". Besides, why would you spend $3K on a quad that you would use to hang out with a bunch of dudes when you can pay $3K to party like a rock star.
Title: Re: so..im in a pickle Post by: RAD 450r on February 08, 2007, 08:40:06 PM Good choice, when i was in 8th grade i went to washington d.c. on a field trip for a week, best time of my life, prank calls, pranks, and giiiiirls. Get good with all the girls b4 the trip that you know. We had like 10 guys, and 35 girls on our trip, Awesome stuff. Oh and europe will probably be amazing
