Title: I need your input... Post by: Muddbuggy on January 25, 2007, 09:42:38 PM I'm looking to buy the wife another new 4X4 ute and I dont know which one to buy.
It's a toss up between the King quad and the BF750. please post your pros and cons about them both. all opinions excepted. Thanks MB Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: Young Gun on January 25, 2007, 09:52:34 PM Ive never ridden them but I know of a few people who have them. And they prefer the Kingquad over the BF750 because the BF is too powerful. They also said that when you ride the BF it feels more like its riding you, but they did not feel it on the KingQuad. But like I said, its coming from them not me. Dont know if that helped.
Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: Muddbuggy on January 25, 2007, 09:57:53 PM I never thought it could be too powerful but thanks for the input.

Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: qt314nfla on January 25, 2007, 10:14:52 PM Who are you kidding you mean you're buying yourself a spare quad. I thought y'all were gonna get a rhino? Wait till everyone starts trading /selling their 06 rhino's for the 07's and you should get a deal.
Forgot to add I've only rode the KQ, great handling bike but I'll still take mine or a smaller bike all day long. Easier to work in mud, less likely to break things when you get stuck due to weight. Why not go w/ another vinson? IRS is a nice ride but I still like the handling of a solid rear better. Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: Kawa3 on January 25, 2007, 10:38:05 PM The kawasaki Vtwins have a ton of power and are a ton of fun. KQ seems like it has plenty of power and the BF might be to much for your wife. I have an arctic cat 650 V2(kawi praire 650 engine) and its right at 1klbs with me on it and it will stand itself straight up with 28" laws or 589s on it w/o a problem
Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: MedicMudder on January 25, 2007, 11:19:09 PM The King Quad 450 would be a good atv for your wife. Atv action
Jan 2007 gave it a good review. Suzuki did a great job with this bike. Irs,Efi,power good but not to much. It wont be cheap, around 6,500 I think. I hope this helps. Medic mudder. Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: xr100racer on January 25, 2007, 11:26:58 PM Can-Am Outlander 800 gets my vote
You cant ever have too much power, preety sure its the biggest engine ever put in a quad Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: renmus on January 26, 2007, 06:48:09 AM Ask her which one she is most comfortable on.
Title: Re: I need your input... Post by: Muddbuggy on January 26, 2007, 08:18:50 AM I forgot to mention that her old bike was a vinson, I dont think she would have any problem with the KQ or BF.
keep the opinions coming. Does anybody out there own either of these bikes. QT the wife has made it clear that she doesnt want a Rhino :( she wants another quad and after thinking long and hard Im just not ready to give up my Z. Maybe in couple more years when I slow down a bit. I can still borrow porky's but it would be nice to have my own. MB Title: may be this will help Post by: MedicMudder on January 26, 2007, 01:18:34 PM Hey,me agin found a great piece in ATV Action Feb 2007,they have broke down all 4x4 quads. A buddy of mine
has a 450 grizz he loves it.I dont know what you are looking to spend.Your wife did you a favor by shooting down the side by side. If you are going to use it for fun. My cousin has a polaris side by side. He said it very hot, dusty, not a lot of fun. Great for work. That is all . Hope this will help. Title: Re: I need your input... I've decided to wait a couple years and buy a boat instead of a Z. However, keep me in mind if the day comes that you're ready to part w/ yours. Glad to hear Erica is gonna stay w/ a quad. I sent her a message the other day on myspace. Would like your family to come out and join us when we get our new camp done. Good luck on finding her the right quad. Oh yeah and did you get my xmas present done? :'( |
