Title: Thunderbowl Speedway is back in the SFTL schedule!
Post by: Hoosier Daddy on January 21, 2007, 11:07:53 AM
After some negotiations Thunderbowl Speedway is back on the schedule!
Some rule changes you will see are, laps raced, 2 LCQ riders moved up (VS one), and how many bikes are ran per heat/main. I would like to personally apologize to all the members for all the inconvenience and confusion this may have caused you but we had to make these changes to get Thunderbowl back on board.

It shouldn't, As far as I know we will have 3 of you which makes a class.
More than likely we will have a set of rules for the larger tracks than the smaller ones, if there are less than 3 trikes we will combine you in another class (intermediate) BUT you will be scored as if you were in your own class. I know this has created confusion, not to mention it was last minute and trust me I'm working hard to get it all sorted out by the first race.

Don't get you hopes to high.... the (TBA) means its a tentative date, we might have to move it up or down a week or two. were still working with the owners on a firm date.

seeeee! you spoke to soon! the track owner just called, it looks like we need to change the date to 3/11/07, yes thats a Sunday racing starts at 1pm. The track owner will do the advertising so we should have a good spectator turn out. Also, keep in mind this is the home track of David Ruetmann and family. Also, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Irnie Irvin, Kenny Schrader and many other NASACR drivers have raced at this track.

Oh well that would have been nice to raced there that night cause I will be there anyways. Todd was asking me alot of questions about it when we met at the airport last week ;)

As far as the size of the track I think it is 3/8's

Actually it's a 1/3 mile track.

Yes 1/3, Since this track has huge sweeping corners the size shouldnt be an issue.
