The ATV MX races that are usually in March are not on the national schedule for Gatorback this year. The ATVA dropped them after what happened last year.

No quad race at gatorback for 2007.  Nearest national to Florida is Macon GA.

For all of your knowledge,
The owner of Gatorback is being sued and that is why the ATVA cannot hold a race there. He has always hated having the quads there and has never done anything to try to make it better. That is why a child was killed and the racer that landed on him found him dead a lap later(no flagger ever saw the griffin child)...That is why Florida is not on the mx schedule,He can say whatever he wants there were just as many trucks there as the dirtbikers did so he is just saying the same thing he did for the last couple of years. The
owner of Gatorback does not and will never support the quads.

I cannot for the life of me understand the animosity from motorcylists.
Motorcyclists are looked down on by those who drive cars. I used to get my AMA mag every month(before I switched to ATVA) and it was one article after another of how motorcyclists were getting killed with little or no recourse to the driver of the automobile. They are fighting to gain respect and rights, yet they have those same feelings towards ATV's.
I know it's no MX race, but this hare scramble is as close as you'll get to Gatorback on an ATV for some time.
Now I am wondering if they won't allow a "quad only" scramble knowing the owners feelings
