I agree - never thought Jack would shoot Curtis in the throat like that. However from the beginning no matter who you are if you have to die in order for Jack to save the world...he will kill you, friend or not!

Jack can't isn't quitting after he saw the first explosion.....he is back in action. He has the get the other 4 suitcases...can't wait til Monday.

About the last show. I didn't know a cell phone would work inside a nuclear bunker. I'd like to know who her service provider is (it was the prez's chief of staff that was using one). That little bald guy from ER (Romano) is Jack's bro? Interesting. He was the puppet master last season. Definitely a dysfunctional family. LOL!

OMG the preview for this coming one - showed a guy knock Jack down or something like that, then it shows a guy coming through the door way and he says stop (the guy who hit Jack says) do you know this person. The guy in the door way says thats my son.....

So brother handed him over to the Chinese at the end of last season, is helping with all the nukes now, and his fathers name was on the list of a person who has had contact with a terrorist. Jack is gonna kill his brother....he was part of the reason Jack's wife died wasn't he..in like season 2 or 3?

LOL - I was thinking the same thing about how a cell would work in the bunker and also why the secret service would not be limiting/monitoring all outside communications.   Also in the first show when Jack broke into that car and there was a cell phone just sitting there in the charger.  Then he receives calls on it from like 5 different people.  

I also don't think that Curtis is dead.  They led you to believe that, but none of the characters have said that Jack killed Curtis, only that he shot him.  I bet we see Curtis again.

Chloe mentioned he was dead on the last show and that was her reason to her ex that Jack was quiting. That was, of course at the very beginning of the show. Listed on fox's site, deceased.

If you're a REAL fan, you watch it on DVD and only during the actual hour it takes place. You'd watch 3:00-4:00am starting at 3:00am, etc. LOL!

Nevermind we never get to see what happens during the commercial breaks. What a rip off man!!

yea. its really only like 21 not 24 cause of all the commercial time. it should be commercial free.

We also re-watched all the seasons - talk about commercial free. I really felt like a junkie. Seriously we would watch it from like 6p-1am - it was insane....

It is an awsome show. I record it at 9 and then watch it at 10 so I can FF the comercials. Jack is one bad SOB, I loved the way he killed that guard by biting him.

Jack Bauer is so bad, because he never craps in the whole 24 hour period.

I want the phone he uses too. On top of the fact he doesn't eat, or sleep his phone works EVERYWHERE. He can make one call to CTU and they re-route satellites for him and they send all the info to him on his PDA, all this happens pronto. And not to mention he has all access to the Prez. and the green light to do anything in the name of national security. OK I'm addicted to the freakin' show.       

last nights was pretty good. i cant wait to see jack torture his brother. thats gonna be good. i might have to call in sick to watch it. lol.

Last night pissed me off...............I WANTED MORE! Cant wait to see Jack get revenge on his brother. Also anyone notice how his left shoulder is fine after being shot in it from the season premier. (or stabbed one of the two) I cant believe that weasle talked her into resignation too. Do yall think those two are against?

This season is starting out pretty slow in my opinion. Pissed me off too! Who's shoulder is fine? Jack's...I don't remember him being shot in the premier..

I don't think they are showing Audrey yet...Why? Remember Jack was handed over the beginning of this season with no one supposed to know he is back. Because they were trading him to the terrorists. He told them not to tell Audrey he was back...Just a matter of time before she finds out. I did see her on another show...so who knows she could get killed off pretty soon.

The close of last season had Audrey and Jack finally together and happy after he had to torture her (remember that scene). He walked inside to take a phone call and thats when the Chinese grabbed him. 

Remember Jack has only been back for what 5-6 hours..this is all in ONE DAY of Jack Bauer's life...she'll show up in time, she'll be mad at Jack for not telling her he was back, then they will kiss and she will be killed off. 

That sounds spot on. I think we can look into the 24 crystal ball and see it clearly. Lets hope she is spared another torture session from Jack.

yea, its only a matter of time cause everybody that gets close to jack gets killed. id hate to know him.

Do any of you have the game 24? We have it for PS2 and this season is just like the video game. I think I am at 2pm and it is almost identical.

David Palmer is dead.  His brother is Pres. now.
Logan is the bad guy who was Pres. last season.  He is back.
As for Jack, he has a family full of criminals.

I meant to say ex pres Logan, not Palmer. Obviously he isn't coming back. I miss him, though. I still have a hard believing his brother is President. His bro just doesn't have that commanding presence like he did.

No, I don't think he's dead. But, he will be incapacitated long enough for the VP to do damage. During that time, Jack will be forced to go awol once again for the sake of his country.

Last nights show was the best yet. Action, drama, how could it be any better?

I really get a kick out of the whole one man army scenario. 1 man w/ a pistol taking out 5 others who have fully automatic machine guns....
Other then that last night was pretty cool.....

It kind of seemed that the producers said to themselves a couple episodes back something along the lines of "Holy crap, the day is almost over!  We gotta end this thing!"  That and the 9mm Glock vs. 5 sub-machine guns was kind of a let-down for this series.  Still pretty entertaining, though.

You guys think it was a big deal for Jack to take them out with his pistol? He didnt' even need that, he could have just attacked them like a wild dog and killed them all. I love the way he bites people, he killed that guard in the first episode by biting him in the throat and he bit that bald headed camel jockey last night just before he hung him with that chain.
 I say we put Jack and Tony Soprano in charge of our military and no one would ever want to mess with us.

yes, if it is not in HD I will not watch it.  I stopped watching CBS altogether since they added their sub channels and drop the power on the main digital channel and I no longer can get it.  They wont give me a waiver either.  No more CSI for me.

I know, it is addictive. I swear Nascar is better in front of my TV than in person.

My predicition is Jack will NOT die...LOL at least not for the next 4 years...I wish they never would have told us that he signed the 5 year contract.

The biggest thrill was not knowing if Jack really was dead at times.

Anyone else not impressed with the Finale....

It was ok, but not incredible. It's basically just over. I think Jack needed a happier ending, but got nothing at the end. At least he won't be tortured for the next two years. He thought about suicide there at the end, but lucky for us he didn't do it. Now we can have another season, lol.

Notable injuries/deaths for the past season:

The spat it out newbie father getting a drill in the shoulder.
Russian guy getting the axe, literally. Guess it seemed like a good idea at the time. 
Head terrorist getting strung up with chain link.
Like a fool, Milo taking it for the one he loves and now he is 6 feet under.
Silver Spoons getting blinded.

Acid being pored on that kids foot. No wait! That's another show.

Well it was the best thing on TV, and I suspect the next day will be very close to the last day, not years in the future like usual. That is the only reason I can think of for leaving so many things open ended the way they did.
