were actually looking to put Volusia on the schedule for 2007.
I know you have to be an AMA member since its a sanctioned race and they have AMA specific rules.

Let Me know Gary,I want to run it! I know your first race will cost around a 100 buck Because you have to sign with the ama,Plus pay to race what ever it cost, AMA Rules are Pretty simple and not that big of a deal

Looking at the schedule it does not look like they are going to have quads there.

I spoke to the promoter for these races today. There will be no quads allowed to race at the Daytona race. Quads will be able to race at the Thunderbowl and Volusia dates only.

The promoter said it's not an AMA or ATVA decision, but that the facility in Daytona will not allow quads.

After many phone calls and questions, here is some more info:

Catch cans and wired in plugs are NOT required for this event. They are required at some AMA/ATVA Nationals, but not at this one.

Tether kill switches and nerf bars are MANDATORY. I was told there were NO exceptions to this rule, and that the kill switches will be checked.

Practice for Sunday and Mondays race starts at 11 am, with racing TENATIVELY scheduled for 1 pm.

There will be overnight camping allowed. The price per night is $10.00. There are no hook-ups.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.
