Title: 92 decibal readings at croom

so i hear that next july croom is doing a decibal reading and nothing over 92 decibals is allowed in whats your peoples thoughts?

not sure what bikes will get into croom then, my stock 450r was tested at 93 decibals at the last quadscramble race, i heard one ranger say something about they would like it to be down to 96 but dought it would happen

Whats wrong with that ;) haha.  I doubt they will do this because most people are 95 decibals and above.  I see alot of exhaust setups that are around 98 decibals.

It would be one way for developers to get their hands on that juicy piece of real estate; create an unobtainable (at least for most riders) requirement, usage drops and justifies closing the money losing proposition.  Now the land is so torn up it has no value as a natural resource but sure would make a sweet site for an outlet mall and a couple hundred townhomes.  Does that make me a pessimist or a cynic?

Croom is part of a STATE FOREST. I really don't think it will ever be developed. As far as no natural resoursces? Have you never seen the amount of deer in that place? I've also seen coyote and all other types of wildlife. We should consider ourselves lucky to have such a place to ride legally at a somewhat reasonable price.
