Title: florida atv title Post by: oohay32408 on December 22, 2006, 10:26:59 PM i am going to tennessee to buy me a new atv, but i live in florida. do i have to get a florida title no matter what. i live 30 minutes from alabama. if i plan on doing all of my riding in alabama, do i have to get a florida title. now do'nt get me wrong, i would have no problem at all paying the title fee. its the 4 or 5 hundred bucks they want in sales tax for a item i have bought in another state. forget that! will they track me down with a court summons if i do'nt come down to the dmv with hands full of money? a local dealer said they track me through warranty info, and if i do'nt come pay them, they suspend my drivers liscense! ha ha, hello, my drivers liscense is already suspended. oh no! i have a old id from my home state. if they do'nt require atv titles, could i give my old address to the dealer in tennessee that i am buying from? once again to all you guys who get defensive about atv titles and how great an asset they are to the growth of the sport, i have NO problem paying the title fee. thanks and merry CHRISTmas!!

Title: Re: florida atv title Post by: oohay32408 on December 24, 2006, 12:37:38 AM well i gotta wait awhile before i get it back. i got buzzed july 4th and did'nt want to drive home, so i parked in the parking lot, right in front of the front door,{legally i might add} of the business my father and i own. i decided to get some sleep till morning when i was feeling better, but no the pigs had to f with me and give me a dui. i did have the car running, but because like i said , july 4th, middle summer, 95 - 100 degree weather, the ac in the car felt pretty darn good. i did'nt want to go into our store because then the alarm company would call my dad in the middle of the night just to let him know the someone was at the store. but heah ,who would of thought they would screw me for sleeping in a privately owned parking lot in front of my own business. so back to atvs. why not enjoy atv riding while no liscense. there are a few hundred thousand kids out there with no liscenses riding atvs so i have just as much right also.
