As for the classes, we are very trying to stay close to what Hazelhurst runs, so that we all can run all the Ga. tracks and Fl. tracks with out changing the bikes.  Goto 341 dirtdrags to see their classes.

The biggest, and probably the MOST important, NO ALCOHOL by anyone under age, or anyone racing!!!!!!! This will, and is STRICTLY enforced by us and CR MOTORSPORTS. Anyone who is caught, will not be allowed to race,will not get a refund on entry fees

We need to run outlaw class first.  That way I can drink and announce. 

they need to be run about half way through the race. for one people watching if they see the fast guys first out, they will all leave cause everything else will look real slow and boring! second the track will be better if we run some other classes first. the more you run the better the track gets! unless your at the very end of the race :P

O.K., here we go;

Rules first;  No alcohol for racers!!!!!
                No buggies in pit area,Tether Kill switches are    MANDATORY,ankles must be covered, Helmets at all times
  Every bike must have a number( index cards can be given w/ a number)
Start time will be at 10:00 am EXACT !!!!!!!!!!!!
 Racers ONLY aloud in pit areas ( and crew)
There is a test and tune lane in the pit area( for T/T ONLY !!!!)
     Kids class;up to 12years old, 110 cc and under, triple elimination 10.00 race fee w/trophies to top 3
 Kids 7 and under up to 100cc, otherwise same as above
  We will will make a class for the more advanced kids to race on a little bit bigger cc bike( Example 300ex, blaster etc.)
 Young men/ women 12-16  can run the ET classes no higher than 5.20
 ages 15 and up can run in the 550cc and under heads up class( on there own bike, No jockey for others)

Stock classes;
 Just what it says   "STOCK", Rules are the same as Hazelhurst
 Entry fee will be 15.00, single elimination, first round Buy Back ONLY!!buy back will be 10.00

 Utility classes;    Must be a utility 4x4!!!!, 10.00 entry fee,double elimination, NO buy back

Outlaw classes; 550cc and less,  551cc and up, Run what you brung ,35.00 entry fee,double elimination, First round buy back only, buy back will be 15.00

Heavy hitters outlaw classes; rider must weigh 200lbs minimum!!!same rules as other outlaw classes
Payback will be 80% of the purse for each class
Test and tune fee ( day before race day)10.00
All races will be held on a saturday!!!
 Protest; Any racer can protest any bike in their class 100.00 fee ( same as Hazelhurst)
The track can "break" down a bike at anytime to test fuel, stroke etc.

Lane choice is determined by BEST reaction time during qualifying
Test runs will be before each class start( for that class only !!!!) 2 passes only !!!!!!
Outlaw classes, make a qualifying pass, Start fastest against slowest

I will ask Jason to post Hazelhurst rules once again to help me on this, I do not like to type!!!!

Ron, I would have to agree with you on everything that you mentioned, I will get with Jeff tonight ( and others) to see what the vote would be on the protest amount. We dont want to "tear down" bikes if we can avoid it !!!



I will also get the rules printed for you as well, and YES they will be in effect for a year, any changes would be MINOR if at all.

now i agree you don't want to tear down, but if you make it so expensive that no one will tear down, then you are going to have people cheating.  need to meet in the middle somewhere.  maybe 150 dollars to protest.  protest must be down before the race is over or before the winnings are paid out.  i can tell you right now, you make the protest 200 dollars or more, and you are going to have a bunch of cheaters.

if bike is legal, the protestor pays the bike owner that is legal 150 dollars.
if bike is illegal, the owner of the bike pays the protester 150 dollars and the protester gets to keep his 150 dollars that he put up to protest the bike.

just my opinion but if someone knows that if they get caught cheating they are going to have to pay and forfeit the winnings, or be banned from the track, they will not cheat.

How far is this track from TDR?

you said no internal work for the stock class but on the dirtrags rules ([url]http://341dirtdrags.tripod.com/id2.html[/url]) for the stock class it states no more than an .080 over bore for stock class. Well......can I run my .080 over raptor in the stock class?

Yes, its now 686. Power gains from increasing bore size alone are also minimal on a 4 stroke, the new piston has a 11:1 comp ratio. Stock is 9.5:1         Hotcams stage 1, pipe, filter, and thats it. No head work, stock carbs, no crankcase modifications........

I couldnt find anything in the rules for the stock class or pro stock about cams

Mike, I am sure that my new set up will run. Actualy its set up better for that track inparticular, I am NOT saying that it will compete with Troys new bike, BUT, it should prove to be a good set up !

oh yeah.  lupo your bike has already run 3.99's.  troy's has run 3.94's, so it should be some good racing.

 and that was with bone stock frame so hopefully with this lightened one and dialed in I think it will run maybe a 3.8 if we get the perfect pass. should be competitive at least. look what I've got to run up against, can you say UNDERDOG! ;) just the way I like it!!!!!!!

You really can not compare those times. Two totally different tracks. One is sand and the other one is clay.

 this is very true but from what everyone one else says a paddle track is faster than a prowedge track. and we already know it's a fast track from the times ran. you boy's with them big motors better hope it's not the case or them 535's will be eat'en dirt! HEHEHE

The fastest I have been with my little motor is a 4.12 which should have been 4.0 but wheely bar hung me up at the start and rolled out instead of launched ???  it will definately be competitive sand or clay!

  i will say this i saw that  little motor run  that thing can haul the mail and then some   that bike will be  one of the top dawgs for shure

Now, the protest fee, will be 150.00 for any protest ( stroke, or bore) The winner will get their money back, and half of the other 150.00 if its their bike being tore down ( for O-ring, or gasket kit)

i think if you're protested and then found legal you should get the protest fee just my .02.......

   this is true for certain 4 mills where builders are tweeking them day in day out, not for the average 4 mill with blaster weisco pistons. they might be blaster pistons but stock blaster is still 68 mill bore. not saying it's not gonna fly just saying don't be diappointed not to be running in the 3's 8)
