Title: Rear End Help Post by: IXIswamperIXI on December 13, 2006, 09:03:18 PM Does anyone know of a video or literature on how to shim and allign the ring and pinion gear? I tried to do it by myself the first time and it only lasted 4 months. I had to get new gears and I dont want to go through that agian. (about $600)

Whatever brand of gears you are using you should be able to contact their tech support and get the specific backlash and info for your application . Just take your time, setting up a rearend can be down right frustrating.
