Title: Women's gear, what fits? What's good? Ocelot? Shift? MSR? Thor?
Post by: banana-man on December 09, 2006, 11:02:48 AM
I have 4 people to buy for, so I can't really afford the most expensive, but don't want junk either.  Oscelot has very good prices from chaparral-racing.com.  I'm sure they don't make them.  Prob made by one of the big names.  Do all the pants come padded?

Thanks

I tried MSR and Answer womens gear and don't like either. They are very high wasted, which was uncomfortable to me. Women's gear is just like the rest of womens clothes. We really need to try it on because it is all cut different and different women are comfortable in different cuts.  Now one that I do like is Fox womens gear. that is really comfortable and I know quite a few girls that wear it.  Yes the pants come with padding and also pads that you can take in or out.

Did both MSR and Answer have removable hip pads?  Extra padding in the knees?  I called chaparal, and asked the girl to grab a pair of the pants.  I asked about the quality, and she said that they did not have the removable hip pads, or the thicker material in the knees.

Did the MSR, Answer, and Fox ALL come with removable pads?  Extra thick material in the knees?

Oscelot must be just pants made of nylon, nuttin special.

The best place to buy is
www.motorcycle-superstore.com I bought 3 prs of pants and 3 jersey's all O'neal and spend right at $100 with shipping. They are light weight and really comfortable.
