I made the post 2 days ago and I noticed it was deleted yesterday. I went back in the thread to look at everybody elses rides and when I got to page 5 where mine was, it was gone. The previous post was still there but mine was no where to be found. I guess my YFZ was not cool enough for the thread. :'( Title: Re: What happened to my post? Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: JayDawg on December 04, 2006, 10:38:08 PM repost it. I was going to do that but if it was removed by a mod for some reason, I don't want to do something that will get me band. Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: xr100racer on December 04, 2006, 11:51:27 PM you probably were not wearing a helmet if its in the photo section. or maybe you were on pavement, or maybe you didnt have full body armor on, you also need have airbags installed on your quad if you want to make it in the photo section, and dont even think about the video section. when taking pictures/videos of you and your quad you must represent atvers in a very responsible and respectful manner. if your not careful your entire life may get deleted

In the last picture, I was riding my Father in laws quad without a helmet. Here is Colorado, there are no helmet laws so I wasn't doing anything illegal but if that is the opinion of the mods of the board then I won't post that pic again. Although, I think maybe a pm to me asking to delete that 1 picture may have been better than just deleting my entire post. :dunno.gif Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: dj_pizzim on December 05, 2006, 09:55:15 AM There is no helmet law in Florida either however Riding a ATV is a semi dangerous activity and wearing a helmet shows responsiblity and doesnt promote unsafe riding.

Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: dreth on December 05, 2006, 08:03:46 PM jaydog im sure it was because of the lack of the helmet.

If he says no helmet no post then it's no helmet no post. Like it or not it's his rules. We don't have to agree we just have to abide. Cableguy, I wasn't complaining about the rules. In fact, I agree with what you are saying. It is not my web site so therefore it is not up too me to make the rules. I am only a member so I need to abide by them just like everybody else. When I posted the pic, I was unaware of the rule that no helmet pics were not allowed. I later noticed the photo section does warn that they will be deleted but didn't see that when I posted the pics. I also understand where the owner of this site is coming from. He or she (I don't know who owns the site???) is wanting his or her site to promote responsible riding and not something that will give our sport a bad name. I do always ride with a helmet but the one that was posted of me not wearing a helmet, was before I bought my YFZ so at the time I didn't have one. I will also admit that the pic of me was somewhat irresponsible because I was catching pretty good air without a brain bucket on. But I know now so in the future I won't post anymore pics like that. :no Title: Re: What happened to my post? A forum is ENTIRELY dependent upon it's members continuous input. Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: greenmachine on December 06, 2006, 12:52:29 PM 06 LimitPredator, if you are defending anyone riding any size or type atv without a helmet, you need to get back on the boat you fell off of & find another forum. Yes this forum is made by its members posts, but to me it looks like there are enough responsible posters to keep this thing alive. IT IS JUST PLAIN IGNORANT TO RIDE W/O A HELMET! If you have kids, I hope you dont raise them to think the way you do.
Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: 06LimitedPred on December 06, 2006, 01:56:03 PM Are you saying i'm suggesting people should break the law and ride without helmets? Oh wait, you're on a high horse preaching to people about what another adult should or shouldn't do to be safe while obeying the law that says HELMETS ARE NOT REQUIRED.
Well i think it's unsafe for you to drive to work, in order for you to avoid having an accident i think you should sit in your house with no electricity and never move for fear of stubbing a toe or setting a fire. hmmmmm... Not so funny when one person tries to make an arbitrary rule that says what YOU should or shouldn't do as long as you're following laws and behaving like an adult and making their own decissions. :-* Title: Re: What happened to my post? Posting a pic with out a helmet here is not following the "laws" of a site that is owned by one person - so HE does have the right to say what can and can't happen on HIS site! He pays for it, keeps it running and maintains it for all of us to enjoy. Seriously why is this so difficult for you? Cableguy put it out there very nicely. Did you not register and agree to the terms of the site? Title: Re: What happened to my post? hey 450RCrazy, here is a heated (a stupid one but....) debate. join in. Title: Re: What happened to my post? Post by: greenmachine on December 06, 2006, 02:58:25 PM You must not have any kids do you? You are starting to sound like a tree hugger now. Should we all stop writing on paper so we can save a tree? ::) You probably voted for Kerry, right? Have fun with this, but I wont sway on riding helmetless, BTW there are rules in the forest for anyone under 16, mut have a helmet on an OHV. croom also says no helmet no ride no matter what age. Dont matter if you are putting around or not, what you bang your head off of is your business, but at least try to influence kids in a better way.

A friend of mine was a tester for the pipe when it was in it's pre production stages. He was telling me about the pipe and invited me to test it out on my YFZ. We spent a day bolting and unbolting it and other pipes to my quad. We also rejetted each pipe a ton of times. By far the Pulse Charger totally kicked everythings butt. Soon thereafter, I ordered one and have been very pleased! The guy who builds them goes by the name Mixxer over at some Honda site. I think the sites address is www.trx450r.org He can answer any questions about the pipe and tell you how to get one of you are interested. |
