Title: ds 650 starter Post by: snowmanzz13 on November 20, 2006, 08:11:09 PM the starter, it just spins and spins, and we took it apart and it seemed fine and then we found 4 nuts that were just behind the flywheel and have no idea whats happening or wher they came from, now it still spins and spins and nothing sounds as it's engaging, HELP!!!
Title: Re: ds 650 starter Post by: lugnuts on November 20, 2006, 10:22:02 PM sounds like the one way clutch has come apart remove the starter and try to spin the other gear by finger if it just spins the I would think the bolts broke or came loose and fell out I have seen this happen to the ltz's and raptors you will haft to remove the flywheel to repair
