Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: jmiller450 on November 17, 2006, 02:43:18 PM Where is it? its out at croom. The closer hills to the campground.Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: banana-man on November 17, 2006, 03:03:30 PM I know it's at croom. LOL I mean where at, at Croom? I was just there last weekend, and the weekend before, and before that,... and didn't see it? The hills south of the camp ground, in the direction of that gravel/hole/riboned off area?
Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: jmiller450 on November 17, 2006, 03:36:10 PM if you go out of the campground it is basiclly straight out from the gravel paths. Maybe to the right a little bit Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: 450rcrazy on November 17, 2006, 03:47:49 PM cool video
Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: Eric5555 on November 17, 2006, 04:05:35 PM cool...that looks like sooo much fun
Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: banana-man on November 18, 2006, 10:04:40 PM Well, I found it....that video really does no justice to that ramp. It's about 15 feet away from that cliff that itself is about 13ft high. The ramp itself is about 7ft tall, and launches you at about a 70deg angle. No-one in our group had the nuts to do it, but we did see some dirtbikes hitting it and getting some huge air.
Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: dnigels on November 18, 2006, 10:52:48 PM How much landing area (distance), is there?

Its plenty of room to stop in timeTitle: Re: ramp at croom Post by: dnigels on November 20, 2006, 07:39:54 PM You read my mind.
Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: TRX450R_Racer on November 20, 2006, 08:52:16 PM that video really does no justice to that ramp. I agree. Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: jmiller450 on November 21, 2006, 02:52:17 PM here some more videos from that weekend http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/jmiller450/?action=view¤t=Ramp3.flv (http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r308/jmiller450/?action=view¤t=Ramp3.flv) Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: Able on November 21, 2006, 05:10:08 PM I know the spot 8) That's a new ramp. The last one busted when a guy was hitting it and left a big gouge in the face of that cliff. We didn't get to hit it with the ramp, but my buddy hit that cliff with no ramp. And we both hit the cliff/step up at the end of the last video. It's a nice little jump. There's another one near there that's not as high, but is straight up and down. We hit that one also. I can't wait to go hit that ramp now ;)
Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: Able on November 21, 2006, 06:37:16 PM Hey is that last video (near the end) the time when he hit the stump and bent his rotor ?
Yep it is......in fact if you look you can just see the front of my Pred at the very end 8) Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: #13_LT-R450 on November 21, 2006, 09:00:14 PM Sweet!!!

Title: Re: ramp at croom Post by: atvtrailer on November 24, 2006, 02:34:47 PM Where was the last jump in the second video located? both jumps are in the same area, the ramp is just on the one side of the hill, u land in the same area for both hills |
