Title: A Few From Big Cypress
Post by: sk8r_dude on March 07, 2005, 05:40:42 PM
A primitive camp site. This was a beautiful place off the Corn Dance trail about 15 mile in.

Look at the water line on the cypress trees. Wet season you might as well use a boat

This is Mud Lake deep within the preserve. It's about 5 miles west of Concho. So many gators you could walk across on their backs!

We rode over 60 mile this day completing the entire Concho Billie Trail and looping over to Mud Lake. About six miles from the end of Concho, my fuel valve fell off the tank and dumped all my fuel on the engine. We had to tow one bike six miles out through the worst part of the trail. If anyone has completed this loop, you know what the last part is like. Deep water, mud and lots of rocks. It was grueling but we got out ok. No pictures because I was to busy working the bikes out.

its 50 dollars a year permit fee, bikes have to be inspected, titles are also needed to register, you take a small course on a computer to get an operators permit. no riding after 10 pm. no helmets requiered. most and all of the trails are not sport bike friendly, 4x4s a must........
