Title: build a street leagal quad? Post by: 450rcrazy on November 12, 2006, 08:23:39 PM would it be leagal to take a 1000cc street bike and turn it into a quad and register and ride it on the street? I have seen many goldwings turned into trikes riding around why not into quads?

Post by: 450rcrazy on November 13, 2006, 08:21:29 PM only so it would be street leagal.take a messed up street bike use the necessities speedo turnsignals oh and the vin# tag rest was not needed to complete the project and put it on a 450r or ltz 400 .if you started out with a 600 street bike maybe even use the engine.

Post by: snowmanzz13 on November 14, 2006, 09:44:04 PM i used to actually see a guy who had 2 quads that were street legal down in hollywood, they were beautiful, widened and lenghtened to meet regulations, along with all the lighting and what not, i mean, you can do it with a dirt bike(super moto bikes) so why not quads? it has been done

I would almost say you could if you get the sherrifs department to inspect it.
