Maier and Fullbore make black plastics, and I think there is one more company that does, but I cant seem to remember thier name. Fullbore is a little more expensive, but their plastics look better then Maier does (at least for the 300ex, thats where I'm getting mine from).

Laker is cheaper than both Fullbore and Maier.. I didn't know their pricing until after I put the order in for my new ones ::) I tried to cancel the order to get them, but once you place a special order your out o' luck. If anyone is interested, drop ATP a line, we are a dealer for Laker Custom Plastics. I think this is what I will be getting for my quad in the future.
Just FYI, Laker will be releasing true Carbon Fiber plastics, in the near future. I will post some pics as soon as they are available. Thanks, Mike |
