Title: Throat Mic Post by: stacktester on November 01, 2006, 09:52:32 PM Has anyone ever heard of a throat mic? It goes on your neck and works off sound waves from your vocal cords. It works well in high noise places like on a atv. My ? is, does anyone know where to get one. I found them on Ebay but I want to buy one locally.

I bought the 2 way radios and I want these so my daughter and I can ride safely at ONF. With all the forest roads and oncoming atv traffic it would be nice to be able to communicate.

I'm not too familiar with the Jacksonville area, but I would call around to local motorcycle shops. They sell them at the Harley Dealer in my neck of the woods. I am pretty sure it works in the vox mode as well.

I'm glad I asked on these before I bought because I hate to buy and it not work especially off Ebay since you have to worry about the seller not taking it back.
