With the K&N I would run an outerwear 4 sho' Jetting... pilot- STOCK, needle-??? main- 170 Resistor kit info: http://atv.off-road.com/atv/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=191591 It is 'designed' not to start in gear. My bike also can start in any gear... I removed the "lights/on-off/start button" control pod. I use a dirt bike kill switch to start my quad. Good Luck. P.S. and the motor/electrics are off a brand new '06. So we call it an '05 and a half OR a little less than an '06 ;) as a joke. I live in Tampa area, if you need any help just PM me.
