whats up yall. im new to this site. i was lookin for sites that remided me of home and this one was great. im a Marine station in okinawa japan and it gets alittle boring over here. there no where to got out in the woods and even if i could we're not aloud to drive. i like all the post and look forward to visiting some of the spots yall talk about. im from hudson in pasco county. there a lot of good muddin and riding spots out there. thats pretty much all me and my freinds do. im leaveing for afganistan next month and hopeing on being back in fl by next feb. hope to hear from some of yall.

L.E._YFZ_2005, I was out there from 2 - 4:30. I was on my red banshee & my son was on his Dinli 90 white / blue.  I remember your yfz yesterday. If it's the one in your sig. My first time there yesterday and looking foward to going back. It's alot closer than Croom.   My sons atv had a problem that's why we left early. Maybe we can meet up out there.

SHOOT ONE FOR ME ;D  Hope you get home soon. I don't know why yall are over there. We have tried to help all them middle east countries in the past and they just keep finding reasons to fight. I say that we should let them fight agmonst themselves. Iraq was a different case though, they needed a government switch. But this is the first time that we have done this for them correct?  If they go back to a dictatorship in about 15 years or so then let them do that. Just becasue all the leaders need an anger management class doesn't mean that we have to have our soliders getting shot and blown up by suicide bombers. Still, we are over there and nobody realy cares what a 13 year old kid thinks.

yeah thats it. that place is alright. just watch out for police. theres a lot better place north of there. i dont exacly know where it is but ill find out. its called east road pits if you herd of it before.

alright head north in 19 to houston ave. its a little past little road. take a right. head down there a while till it turns dirt. i can remeber where the best spot to turn in to the woods are but theres trails all over the place. make sure there on the left side of the road cause the othe side is all private prop.

to east road pits best place to go is the air strip .. take   little to denton and take denton right past the  commmunity center to coyote  take a left and follow it

hey man wich ever you do make sure you sign a contract with the mos you want. i wanted to be a grunt, but they had no grunt contracts open because there was a over flow of infantry after 9/11, so i when open contract cause my recruiter said "all open contract gets infantry" now i work in a freakin warehouse. so make sure you sign for the job you want. the recruiter will tell you what you want to hear.

arent all marines open for infantry?

recons pretty tough to get in too but it worth it. yu gotta have a pefict pft:100 crunches in 2 min 20 pullups and 3 miles in under 19 mins. and thats just to get started with the pre recs for training. and if your color blind dont even think about your out. thats what happen to me.

every Marine is a rifle man. at time of war all of us can be agumented into a infantry unit. but normally we have normal jobs like motort supply and admin.  they still give us diff oppertunitys to do diff kinds of training,but infantry is infanty all the time thats all the do, train and kill

Hey devildog55,
I use the paint program, it's on almost every PC. Open paint, on the top click open, file, then look where you have the pics at and click on one to open it. Then click on image, stretch/skew, in the top boxs put 40% or 50% to reduce size. Then click on save as, and add a letter or number at the end of the name to change it. That way you still have the original and a smaller one to use. Try different %'s to get the size you want, as close to 75k without going over. I usually go with 74k, or about. It's very easy after you have done it just a few times.

everyone back here is proud of you guys. keep sending pics and stay in touch. when i use paint to reduce the pics sometimes i have to reduce to 25% to make it fit. keep working with it and you'll get it.

over here they got this stuff called haboosakie. its sakie with a local snake called the haboo, fermented in it. it sokes in the sakie and releases all its poison into it. they say it makes you hallusinate. i just got really drunk. well this is the place they make it at.

I've also heard about another asian delicacy that's freaky.  They take the poison sack of a cobra (i think) and cut it out and swallow it whole.  It's supposed to explode in your stomach and make you hallucinate.  It's some kind of wedding treat for the guys.  I don't know about some of these things.  They're a little to weird for me.

Do they sell small viles of young girls saliva there? Just wondering. ;D

every year they have the wolds lagest tug of war. east naha vs west naha. they have a big parade and every thing. this year the west won, soul because of my self ;). well here's some pics.

they carry these big sticks down the road and take turns balencing it. they never let it touch the ground.

I asked about that saliva because a guy I know got a little vile of the stuff from someone that had come back from Japan as a gag gift. It was real though. They have some weird fetishes over there I think. I personally prefer young dog spinal fluid. Sweet.

Nice pic dude......well i was a u.s army grunt for 9 yrs..its tuff work i tell you...i'll take the pilot MOS anyday.....become an officer and fly...cause when you ets you can account for all those flight hours on the HELO....and great job marine...you dont know how proud you make us here.......i dont know you and i am proud of you and the rest of marines serving......
