Only downside is im sellin my quad now. But I didnt ride much anymore anyways. 1997 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0 V8 Motor Leather Electric seats , p/w , p/dl, p/s , power mirrors , 6 cd changer and more. you know that 5.0 has a thirst for gas. ps. be careful adding freon. if you overcharge it you will put strain on the compressor and risk blowing it. Must be your gear package.... Thats weird I know of 2 other explorers of friends or mine, and the worst one on gas is the v6 my buddys 5.0 gets around 20mpg... Not to mention he has 335,000 miles on it and no issues other than the AC.. I have 177,000 on mine I use it for work, Pull a trailer with 400 gal. of water and my only problem has been a fuel pump and water pump...
