The public is hereby notified that the Collier County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. to consider whether the county should exempt itself from provisions pertaining to All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) use on public roads as specified in F.S. § 316.2123, which becomes effective on Oct. 1, 2006. The meeting will take place in the Board of County Commissioners chambers, located on the third floor of the W. Harmon Turner Building, Building F, Collier County Government Center, 3301 E. Tamiami Trail, Naples. In regard to the public hearing: All interested parties are invited to attend, to register to speak and to submit their objections, if any, in writing to the Board prior to the meeting. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless permission for additional time is granted by the Chairman. Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-05 requires that all lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities (including, but not limited to, addressing the Board of County Commissioners, an advisory board or quasi-judicial board), register with the Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department.
