Title: Laptop Post by: MadMudder on September 12, 2006, 11:59:55 PM Hey guys, im thinkin about a laptop for Christmas, but I wanted a little info and oppions on these. I've already decided aginst a Apple because I dont like them and they dont run windows like the rest of the world. I really cant spend more that 750 or so dollars so if you have a XPS or some super fancy laptop-a-saurus then dont reccommend it to me. Other than that im pretty open for info. Thanks.

I then found a coupon on either dealtaker.com or notebookforums.com for $750 off $1499 or more purchase. It ended up being around $900 because I added some other stuff and overnight shipping to my order.

If you can wait, you might consider holding off 'till after the first of the year. That's when Windows will release VISTA, their new Operating Systems which will replace Windows. I bought two laptops from them and never had any problems.

Does anybody have this one. Also what I really want to know is if a 700 to 800 dollar laptop sucks. Internet will be my main use but I probably will use it for music too. Burining CD's and stuff like that. Would what im looking at work, or would I need sonething better. Thanks.
