Title: Phishing Scam Targeting CAMPUS Members all ATVflorida members beware
Post by: Chuck_Norris on July 31, 2006, 06:00:28 PM
It's been brought to our attention that emails have been sent to many CAMPUS members asking for sensitive information or even directing them to a fraudulent site where they are asked to enter sensitive information. Please use extreme caution as these fraudulent sites may look legitimate, like CAMPUS Que. Campus USA Credit Union will NEVER initiate an email asking for your personal account information. If you have any questions about the legitimacy of an email or CAMPUS website please call us at 800-367-6440.

There's a ton of this crap going around lately. I'm sent a lot of scams by fake PAY PAL companies.

I'm sure you already know this, but PayPal emails address you by your first and last name. If it doesn't mention your first and last name, you know it's a fake.

Just  a heads up for those who don't know.
