Title: Why cant an ATV be ridden on the street ??? Post by: acamoeiger on July 26, 2006, 09:21:06 PM What is the difference between an ATV and a moped ?? My Eiger goes faster, Its safer, It has lights, And you can put turn signals on it. Its quiet too. Just wondering if anyone knows. I would rather ride my quad to work than drive my truck... :dunno.gif

As far as gas savings, my truck gets better mileage than my Quad. It would be fun though. Title: Re: Why cant an ATV be ridden on the street ??? Post by: cheropride on July 27, 2006, 08:08:42 AM Live in South Florida, I refuse drive anything smaller than a mack truck (lol)... No seriously, yea it would be cool. But would need street tires, we'd kill our tires in no time.
My little neighborhood is pretty cool though, ;) sometimes we all ride around just in our neighborhood. Like from house to house, the cops are okay w/it as long as we dont haul butt or anything like that. Never had a problem, but alot of it has to do w/neighborhood, pretty much you don't mess w/me, I don't mess w/you... We just don't do it too much cause eats tires bad.... The only differance is Bumpers, brake and turn lights, seat belts and liscense and registration.
