What problem could area landowners have w/a sanctioned race - they have lost their minds. And since the commission had orginally gave the race organizer the okay and approval, they should sue the city commission for lost revenue and additional expense to move the race. Don't get me wrong, I am not a sue happy person, but that just stinks.
Does anyone know what they age group would be for the race, bcz if that was a sanctioned race for kids, that makes it even worse. You know just as when I was growing up I had my horses to keep me out of trouble, it just seems like this state is so half azz backwards sometimes. It tends to take more and more away from kids the things that keep them on the straight path.... They build them out in the middle of nowhere they slowly but surely people buy the property around them and start complaining about the noise. Eventually the track imposes strict rules, turns down big events and eventually shuts down and turns into a new developement.

I gave them a polite 'Thank you' for once again denying the promotion of a legal place to ride ATVs I also kicked in the fact that they probably lost some money. It would be nice to find out how much money was brought into the town of Taylorville, IL from the series event there July 8-9 and throw that in the Taylor County Commissioners' faces. Maybe that would get not only them but other counties in Florida to pull their heads out of their asses. |
