I wouldn't really go out there right now unless you have a 4x4, if not a big bore 4x4. You will get stuck just trying to get into the trail area on a 4x4 without a good set of tires, we tried and just ended up not going into the trails because it was too hard work. Also saw a jeep on some 44s get stuck in there. There are a few small areas for sports right now, but once it drys out in the fall/winter it should be great for sports. The SP500 would do good out there on a set of tires, but stock I'd stay out of the south-side trails. As for where it is, do a search.

That would be a long ride from Clermont.  I'm about 1/2 hour from holeyland, and if I lived in Clermont, I wouldn't come down here to ride...better riding up in your neck of the woods in my opinion

I'm runnig out of places to ride.  Croome is good for my sport bike but there isn't much mud there and Sea World is closed and my buddy owns land out at holopaw but I don't feel comfortable going out there with his key.  I just want some mud to go to this weekend.

Ride for Ride, I would say holopaw is better.  Holyland is okay for me (since Im local to it) but I don't think I would drive from where you are at.  Sometimes it is really good though if you got a group going out there, but keep in mind you are basically riding in the everglades.  When I say everglades, I mean their will be airboats going by.  Alot of people just ride around the levy's, but myself, find that a little well boring.  As for the trip out in the everglades, well lets just say it's an adventure.  And I'm pretty sure there's no overnight parking.  Like I said, for a local place, it's all right, for a long trip - I won't think so.  Just my opinion though....

The road is on the west side of US 27 on the Broward/ Palm Beach County line, There should still be a sign by the road Turn right at the sign which reads Holyland/Rotenberger WMA. Take the paved road several miles west until it turns into a dirt road and park at the first bridge or travel several more miles to the pump house and park, or park anywhere in between those two landmarks. But, north of the dirt road is illegal until 1 May, west of the first bridge on dirt road. Ride on south side of canal.

Yea I went out to Holopaw and everytime I go out there I always manage to find something new so I think I will just keep going out there other than driving for 3 or 4 hours.  Thanks

Umm, it'll be on the west side just north of the county line. It's on the north/west side of the bridge on that canal. You'll know where it is when you see these humongous steel powerlines. Just follow that levi there untill you find the bridge parking where you'll see about 50 trucks parked with quads out there and everything.

Holopaw is about 30 to 45 min down 192 East where the turnpike intercepts 192.  Where is L-cross??

If you are near by ( like within 2 hrs ) I say it is definetly worth the trip. I like going to Holeyland better than going to C & R or going to L-Cross. And in all honesty, I see pleanty of non-4x4quads out there all the time. They can still ride the grade & ride out to Rotenburg ....

Yes you buy land in a huge fenced in area (like river ranch) and you get a key to the gate and you ride all over except on the camp sites that had shacks on them or thats fenced off land that people own.  A lot of fun gets pretty busy on a holiday weekend with some big mud trucks.
