Title: Re: LTR450 Race Engines Post by: UncleRico on July 15, 2006, 11:22:20 PM Is there anyway to make it as fast as a Honda 450r?
;) Title: Re: LTR450 Race Engines Post by: Mrs.Nightbreed on July 16, 2006, 08:50:39 AM I hate to bust your bubble, but with just head work, pipe and fuel mapping that quad is pushing almost the same horsepower numbers as fully worked Honda's. We have always been Honda people too, but numbers don't lie 8)

We have always been Honda people too, but numbers don't lie 8) it dont beat honda reliability. that is all on a computer too. you get them on a track and compare them. get one rider to ride both and see what one is better. of course neither are as fast as a YFZ but you can compare them for second. ;) Title: Re: LTR450 Race Engines Post by: 550superquad on August 03, 2006, 08:40:55 PM any bets on who's gonna win the gnc championship this year
a'int gonna be a honda or yami :'( Title: Re: LTR450 Race Engines Post by: UncleRico on August 03, 2006, 10:48:30 PM any bets on who's gonna win the gnc championship this year a'int gonna be a honda or yami :'( For the GNC MX? Actually, it would have been Natalie (Aboard a Honda) if he didn't miss all those races with a bum wrist and thumb. But it looks like it's gonna be Joe Byrd (Aboard a Honda). Although, I'd like to see it be Dustin Wimmer (Aboard a Honda). I thought Doug Gust would have done better with the Suzuki 450...but it seems he had a better year on the 400 in '05. Title: Re: LTR450 Race Engines Post by: Fox17 on August 04, 2006, 11:32:56 PM i would almost go buy a suzuki cause of pastrana now! that double backflip was awesome.

Been thinking of a 440/450 kit for my old LTZ 400. Ya go any ideas and how much $$$. I'm not trying to out run the 450s, just make mine a little faster. Please drop me an e-mail. Title: Re: LTR450 Race Engines Post by: Mrs.Nightbreed on November 12, 2006, 12:00:30 PM Call Mike at ATP Racing. We have done quite a few LTZ 400 to 450 builds. I think it will run from 1700-2000 depending on what you have done. The most was 2200 and that included some additional work. Those prices are for you to drop it off and we do all the work and installation. That is not just to buy a "big bore kit".
