Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: Mrs.Nightbreed on July 08, 2006, 09:04:05 PM now do u think a stock recon could handal It will turn them but you will most likely have to get a lift kit for it. Da_mtg_man just put 25's on his recon and had to get a 2" lift kit for it.25x12-9 gators im proble going to get an hmf, filter and snorkel it if we dont sell it for her to get a bigger quad Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: Cory1020 on July 08, 2006, 09:12:18 PM i agree that with the mods you should be able t turn them but will need some sort of lift. what happened to you getting the bf 750?

Post by: MachineDog on July 09, 2006, 10:10:22 PM Woah.. those are HUGE on that quad. Now I need to debate if I'm really gonna put 27s on my rancher.. insane man.
Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: rubicon500kid on July 09, 2006, 10:35:17 PM if u get 27's get
27x10x12 Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: 561rincon on July 09, 2006, 11:52:53 PM my cousin put 25'' gators on his recon with 2'' lift. #1 thick mud it struggles # 2 reaked havoc on his suspension. after 4th trip muddin all the bearings were gone. was a fairly newer bike 23 hours on it
Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: rubicon500kid on July 10, 2006, 03:19:34 AM do you think it was the lift that caused that to happin ?
Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: bigscrub79 on July 10, 2006, 09:03:53 AM That thing looks good but I would say you need spacers on the wheels. Like da_mtg_man's it will probably float in water but it will also be really top heavy. put the spacers on to get a wider stance so you dont have to worry about it flipping.
Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: Da_Mtg_Man on July 10, 2006, 09:51:20 AM If you're putting anything other than Mudlites then you will need a pipe and jet it. The 25 in mudlites are no heavier than the stock 22's so I saw no difference in speed. It turns them just like the stock tires in the mud. I am putting 2 inch spacers all around to widen it out a bit. I'll tell you this, With the Mudlites it will go ANYWHERE that my Foreman will go and it has a detroit locker, 2inch lift and 27 in Outlaws.Matter of fact I rode the Recon last weekend and my son rode the Foreman, I led the way and took it down some unfamiliar MUDDY trails, I'm talkiing 18 inches plus of Peanut butter mud and I was floored at how well this thing did.
Title: Re: will it turn them ? Post by: rubicon500kid on July 11, 2006, 04:59:18 PM yea i went every where my friend did with a rancher on 26 vamps did and mine had stock tires on it but i had to work it a lil more
now i know a kid who ran 25 mudzillas on a stock recon with just a lift and he had no problem turning them just sum times he would bog down in thick mud now i found an awsome deal on 25 outlaws on rims for 120 plus shiping so if he still has it ill get them and then just buy a pipe and filter and lift down the road Title: Re: will it turn them ?
