I wanted to post this for anyone who wants to ride, and for all of you that usually ride with me. I was wanting to do a group ride on the 14th of July. I know we usually ride in Ocala, but that night ride at Holey Lands sounds different and fun.
  I've never been there and wanted to go, but I don't know if it's too muddy for sport riders. You guys that I ride with( you know who you are ) we always have a kick azz time and I would hate to turn down an opportunity to ride with you again.
  Would you guys like to try the Holey Lands , or do you think it's too muddy. If it's too muddy, we could do Ocala again on the 14th. Let me know...Post up !!
 

I heard it rained all day thursday, but it has been bright friday and today, the trials should be dry, but their will be mud pits, but you could find your way around, i wouldnt risk drivign 3 hours on a maybe. I think you should go to croom, and wait untill its a sure shot that the holeylands will be good.

I want to ride some trails, not woops. If I don't go down there, I'll go to Ocala.

Come on ! I just traded my muddin machine for a sport. You gonna make me go out and buy another one man! I think Holey Lands is too far for me. I say Ocala

Then you really shouldnt go to holeylands, when s its dry, its whoopy, not bad, but bad enough where you cant have a still, calm ride. I like it becuase its 45 minutes away, and good handling practice, but for a 3 hour drive i doubt you would want practice lol. You should just hit up ocala.
Maybe one weekend you could come down, ride at seminole seeing as that is the closest track to the holeylands, then do a nigth ride later that day at the holeylands.

So, does that mean your going to Ocala?

I would like to go on a group ride so is it still on the 14th?  if so I wont be able to make it, but if on the 15th or 16th I should be able to. Oh BTW I would like to ride Ocala. ;D

Well, it looks like Ocala it is.I'm going up on the 14th, but we'll be riding the 15th T2.Come on and let's ride.I'll have a passenger with me though, so I'll probably be in the middle , or the back of the group.At least until we get to that trail with the jumps!!

Jumps  :ouch.gif.  The last time my tires were off the ground was when I rolled the Raptor in a doughnut hole  ;D.

  Sure wish we could go but Hoss400 will be on call next week, since we were on vacation this week...plus that is my B-Day weekend and family might have a surprise in store  :Y like maybe some stuff for my quad to take with me on rides ...hint ..hint....

I will be there the 14th & 15th. We'll just have to show you the big trail we found last time ...we were catching air!!

Well if you guys are riding on the 15th I should be able make it. I want to see the trail with the jumps in it.

Yeah, definitely a kick azz trail.I could go back and forth on those jumps all day.See ya all there!! I will be there Friday also, so if anybody else wants to meet up , give me a call.

That trail you are talking about isn't by the lake is it?.....

The trail with the bigger whoops is near the trail that goes to Lake Dora, yes. A few of us have no been parking off of 445 near the power lines, up on the hill under the trees. Quick access to the new marked trail system Trypin, his Girl my son/duaghter and I have been riding.. I want to find the way to Lake Dora beach area, we can go too.

ALRIGHT THIS LOOKS LIKE IT SHAPING UP TO BE A GOOD GROUP RIDE ON THE 15TH CAIT WAIT I SHOULD BE THERE AROUND 10 IN THE MORNING I HAVE THE WORK THE DAY B4 AND I DONT GET OFF WORK TILL 800 THAT MORNING I WILL BE ALL PACKED UP AND READY TO GO STRIGHT TO OCALA I GUESS 573 AND 19 WERE THE PAVEMENT ENDS LIKE RANDLE SAID, IF NOT THERE PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE.

Terry and I will be there guys,those new marked trails are soooooooo cool!

Well, I do know the road and it is a 3rd gear double on some of them.Holds water/mud at times....only issue is it that it's a numbered road and one of the bigger ones and it is a no-no to run it..they will ticket you.

Now that the preaching is over, I run it fast and move on... ;)

well it had the marked trail signs saying that it was one of the trails to ride on, so why would u get a ticket if the signs say thats part of the trail your supose to ride on?

Yeah, we were on a trail and it continued straight onto that trail.And it was out there too.

Ya, I think that raod is part of the trail marked for riding, maybe not the whole thing, but that stretch is....We will just have to investigate it fully, I want to explore.

Well just have to check again as we're flying down the trail.This time, we'll take pics!!

The marked system only goes a few hundred feet on that numbered road-then there is some BIG sign thats no entry, that is where the trail heads.  Someone made a mistake marking that one!.  Remember Brain that is where we seen that HUGE owl?  At any rate we will be sure to find that this weekend!  ;D

You have to excuse me as I have not been out there since early in the year..we do the boat thing in the hotter months and the quads in the winter...I'm getting the bug to ride again though... >:D

Man is it Sat YET? I cant wait to ride, its been a few week and I'm having withdrawels. I always say I;m going to take a break but it just doesn't last long B4 the WD's kick in. ;D

bike is ready to go, so i should be out there by 9am saturday

I should be there around 10am hope you guys wait up for me, I'm getting off of work at 800 in the morning and driving stright up there.

well since it seams like most people will be getting there around 10, i guess the ride is gonna start around 10, so il be the there around 9-930

Man it's gonna be a scorcher tomorrow especially if we don't ride till 10. Just might have to make two trips to the ole swimmin hole! Frand and me will be there at 9.

Had a good time with all the people that went! We'll have to do it again soon...or when the temp drops some, it was hot as hell.

Man just when you thought you were going fast enough, Oh well I guess the yonger guys are pushing us olders guys out of the way.

I had a great time riding yesterday, even though it was HOT AS HELL just riding and being around good people made up for the heat. Cait wait to do it again. We need to set up a speed ride some time in the near furture, So I can show Randall how its really done. LOL By the way Randall was riding yesterday he just might lead the next speed ride.  ;)

Had good time yesterday as well.  Swimming hole felt really good at end of day, but soon as I got back to truck it finally rained.  Wish that would have came earlier in the day.  See you all next time.

Another great time for me and a whole lot less tiring on the new bike. We gotta do a 2 day group ride (camping) when the weather cools off so we won't be in such a rush to get home.

I know this ride was a slower than usual; that was my fault.Next time I go solo so we can haul azz!! Noone can say anything about Randall...he's a fast azz hell rider!! Next ride will be a fast ride.Ride or die invitation.

was stil a fairly fast ride, especially considering u had someone ridin on the back, but il have my new tires on for the next ride, so that should help some, just hold on and follow the dust trail ;)

Oh Yea Rob Randell is up there, much faster than the last time I rode with him. I'm almost scared to go the next speed ride, due to the fact there is going to be much more LOONEYS. Found some good riding areas too not to whooped out and nice turns to lay on the trottle. It just has to cool off some, and the ground has to be a little more moist, it just gets way to dusty if you fall in the back. Well I guess I dont have to worry about that happening LOL ;D

I will never have someone on the back again.I wanted to to gas my throttle so bad.The next ride will definitely have to be a speed ride...I have to make it up for loss of riding on this ride.Can't wait to see who has balls!!

well u kept up pretty good for havin someone on the back, but im gettin my new tires on this week, so il pick my pace up a lil ;)

I have to give it to Chino for his riding ability with a passenger, at times  even this "old guy" had to pick it up a little to keep up.   It was a good ride and nice to meet the new people.  Duroc, I am up for the camping thing when it gets cooler, staying over the night really makes a big difference when you come the distance you guys do.  It is nice to have the time to unwind and shoot the breeze at the end of the day-cold ones never hurt any either.     

Good ride it was, hot it was, sore I am... lol, boy I felt Ghey hitting that little hole. Anyway, I got a few pics to post and email, just shoot me an email if you want some pics, Lemme figure theposting thing out tonight when I get home from work.

glad yall had fun and no one got hurt ;) it is still a bit hot out for the ocala rides but by the time my quad is back together it will be nice riding weather 8) hope to hang out with yall.

I'm not saying your slow,if your not saying we're slow.We all like to ride fast...that's what makes us riders.I really hope to ride with ya Dreth.I haven't had the chance and I know we will.

BOY! This is going to be fun!!! I don't recall anyone saying you guys were slow. I just asked Tony if ANY of you guys were capable of being a Looney. One thing to be fast... but another to be fast, skilled, and CraZy. Can't wait to see if any of yous is all 3 ;)

I won't be able to make it on the 30th.The wife wants to take me out of town for my B-Day.Maybe the weekend after we can get a ride going.Also, Duroc says we can do some night riding by his house.I'm up for that!!
 I don't mind being secong, cause I don't know where the hell I'm going out there.I'm still hauling azz and having fun. Myabe we should try some hare scrambles.
