Title: Think before you act Post by: CABLEGUY1 on December 07, 2004, 06:22:05 PM Out of frustration i recently posted my wifes sport 400 for sale. It all started when it lost spark suddenly. I took it to a polaris mechanic that worked on bikes at a jeep dealership. Long story short,he had me buy another stator. Then tried another cdi box,then another rev limiter,and then another coil and then after 3 months he told me it was still the stator. I then took it to team savage who after a week told me they could not figure it out and wheeled me out the bike plus parts in a box and tried to charge me. Luckily i met the Toy Doctor who diagnosed the problem, fixed it along with other problems brought on by the first guys incompetance and had it back to me in record time and cost me practically nothing. If i had acted out of frustration i would have sold my wifes bike dirt cheap and been in the oh so familiar dog house again.Moral of the story is.THINK BEFORE YOU ACT. Thanks again Toy Doctor,you saved me money and headaches.
