Skill is the most important, and those are the best bikes out, just mod them for what you're gonna be using them for and you're good. You are probably not going to win but you will know if you like it or not. Its pretty demanding and not for everyone. Did I mention that I love it?

but everyone else will disagree....IMO I love it... Pretty much all the new 450's are nice... It all comes down to the rider.... Just cause Ballance wins on a Yamaha don't mean its the best.... Otherwise I would recomend a 450r yfz or z400. Heard somewhere kawasaki is supposed to be coming out with their own version of a 450

I almost bought one in 2002 but ended up refreshing my 250R instead. |
