Title: 94-00 300ex advice Post by: CrewCab on June 22, 2006, 01:54:14 AM Im looking at buying a older model, early to mid nineties Honda 300ex for my wife. Is there anything about these that I should look out for while shopping around? Is there any issues that were common with these that I need to look for ?
Thanks Title: Re: 94-00 300ex advice Post by: shortcut on June 22, 2006, 12:56:24 PM None that I know of, supposed to be a super reliable quad.

I had shopped around though looking at these quads for awhile and i really didnt see a problem with them. Just always check the normal engine signs like the motor might be ticking which isnt so good but its nothing big until it states a problem. I love my 300ex and i think its gonna be awhile till i upgrade.
hope any of this helps..any other question just ask ill be more than happy to help you. bobby. I got it for $850 but it starts right up and runs perfect just needs a little cleaning and cosmetic TLC. Now I am undecided which service manual to get. Clymer, Haynes or the factory Honda. Which one has the best explanations on repair?
