Lets go ahead and get this thread goin for next weekend.  I know Chino is in and since this weekends Hardrock didn't turnout too many people maybe they'll all be ready for next weekend.  I went ahead and picked up a pop up shade tent.  So lets do it right, early start at the usual spot...lunch at the lake etc etc.  Got the skid plates comin mid week so I'd like 1 or 2 more utilities out there this time for a little trailblazing.  Anyway...who's in?

Wife got scheduled for work next weekend, so I might have the little one. But I still might go.My friend just bought his first quad yesterday. A blaster, so he would probably like to go. If I go, I'll just be putting around with my little girl.

  Wish we could go but it's Bill's birthday and there are other commitments..........shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

If the kids are going let me know, I am sure my 9 yr old son would want to go.

We take 19 to St.Rd.573, park where the pavement ends.East side of Big Scrubs powerlines.

Guys if you wanna make this one a father kid deal I'll bring my 5 year old and we'll do more at the lake etc etc.  Maybe see if we cant get away with a cook out?  Be fun no matter what...

I'm bringing my friend with me also. He just bought his first quad, so I'll probably be taking it easy!!

il be there, if there are enough that wanna go fast and enough that want to go slow we could split into 2 groups

That's kewl. I'm gonna try to get a sitter for my girl...you know I like to go fast. We'll just have to see how it works out.

Hey guys, Terry and I should  be there, we both bought hydra packs for the next ride, really stunk with nothing to drink.  Chino, get working on that sitter-I want to see if I can keep up with the man-!  drive.gif   If there is anything we can bring along (like lawn chairs, fresh fruit, spikes punch, let us know.

I'm gonna see what happens with a little Weber Grill with some Bubbas...also bringin the Video Cam, gonna put a goof off video together so I wanna get a few shots.  I'm sure if there's more than a couple of people there we could keep the kids at camp with an adult or two so you guys could go all out for awhile.  Anyway, ya same time/place and I picked up some artificial shade =)

You guys don't need to keep up with me, just have fun.I don't try to lose anybody, I just haul azz.Let's just hope it's not dry.Noone can keep up if it is.Pray for some rain.
 If ya don't wanna sit in the dirt, bring you some chairs.I'll bring a few.

this time we can take that trail to the end and see where it comes out at ;)
btw, il have a 10x10 canopy with me for a lil needed shade...

With all the rain they got in Ocala last night I am sure dust wont be an issue.  Although, it may be a little muddy-Lord Reed time to get that Scrambler dirty.  ;D

Last time, we all got their at 8:30.We were there till 6:30.The ride usually last about an hour then we come back to pick up all you stranglers that arrive late, then we go riding again.
  Come back for lunch and a swim and the spring, followed by more riding,"WOO HOO",
then we chill and shoot the breeze.Then maybe some more riding!!

We meet on FR-573 right at the end of the pavement.  If you're on Highway 19 you will turn west onto 573.  Once on that road you'll run right into us in about 3/4 mile.  See ya there.

I left it up to my son to come if he wants, either way I am going, I have some beer left from the shed move off that trailer we did, lol good stuff and I will bring some more with me...
Remember, cooler with some water, alot of ice and some Salt= Very cold of whatever is inside, lol

what time I have to pick up my other 2 freinds we live in St cloud and meet up with are other freinds in winterpark.I guess we could always look for a big wooter of a group riding around.I hope this just isn't for 4wheel driver qauds ???lord knows why u would ride those when u can buy a yfz 450.This is what I'll be riding if where late.I have the graphics on now.

no, there are gona be alot of sport bikes, a i have a 450r and so do a few others, and a few z400's, so it should be fun

Actually I think I'm the only one with a semi-utility quad on a Scrambler  :-\  Hoping for maybe 1 or 2 others this weekend, lookin to go off the beaten path Saturday and make my own trail.

Dang I wanna go I got a Raptor 700R and my 2 friends have Kodiak 450's (theres your off the beaten path group haha)

Only problem is I know where 19 is but..573? Not too sure where that is and I dont have a map.. Is it noticeable I mean is there a sign?

I'd be coming from ocala... soo whats the best way? go to 314 on 40 and take a left? then go down to salt springs? to too familiar with that area..

Does antone know a qicker way?And is this close to where you are meeting.

LordReed are ya aware that your "trail blazing" is one of the reasons that riding the ONF is being threatened? There are plenty of trails in the forest for some challenging riding so please try to stay on them so the rest of us can keep riding there. Don't get me wrong, I love trailblazing too but those days are over in the ONF just have to find somewhere else for it I guess. Why has no one else commented on this? Do any of you care? I do and plenty of others do too! I'm not trying to be a nag but come on man wake up and pay attention, do you not read other threads on here about the problems at ONF?

Most of the times I hear of problems in ONF, it's due to young people tearing up the more public areas, leaving trash everywhere, disrespect for authority, riding on the posted public roads, underage drinking, violence, amateur MX riders breaking bones and the list goes on and on.  What I'm talking about is takin the GPS and finding new places/trails that I havent come across yet...trailblazing.

I will be going too if I can just get my engine put back together. Does anyone know the best way to put a timing chain back on? Redtree are you going up 75? I will probably be going up the same time as you. I am in Wesley Chapel just a couple miles north of Tampa. I guess the Raptors will be making their presence felt because I will be riding one too! ;D

Lol. I only visit two ATV sites and Bluetraxx is one of them. I want to put my engine back together so bad so that I can ride but I want to make sure I do it right. Thanks for the help with the link. I am to the point now that if I don't get this bike put back together, I am going to get a tow strap and have one of the utility ATV's tow me around! ;D

It's not how you ride, but who you ride with.There's always gonna be a few that have to prove their quad is fast!! I don't care how fast yours is, I know mine is fast enough.And that means fun!!

I dunno about fast but who can do the longest wheelie?  :P

Just incase (this is for everyone) if I go down 40 towards daytona im going to turn right on 19?

if u are headed east on 40 from ocala u will turn right and go south on 19 and go down a lil wase and the big powerlines will cross 19 and u can see the trail under them to both sides and then 573 is on your right about 1/8 a mile down past the powerlines and there is a mini school house(bus stop) at 573 and then u go west on 573 for about 1/4 a mile and where the pavement ends u should be able to see every1 parked there

First time to onf!WOW what a fun place to rie the whoop section down the power lines are fun as hell 5th gear all the way.Can't wait to go back.Didn't see anyone there we only passed 2 dirtbike guys there were about 5-6 people with us guess we got there at 9:30 left around 2:00 can't wait to ride with other people plus the people that wen't today!What up Julian nice rappy!To bad Rholando hit that corner to hard and hit the tree.He only flew 5-6 feet so he was alright bent his a-arm alittle but it was the best trail riding I've done in a while.It's like Suburban on steriods.

We were on 44?I think thats it and parked up in the dirt by the power lines

Just got home ..WHEW what a ride ! It was well worth it tho . I had a blast . It was cool that so many people showed up ...I counted 17 quads!!!!  :o For sure the best trail riding I have done ...Oh yeah, the rope swing at the lake is a BLAST! Thanks everyone....it was nice to meet you all!

Next time I'll leave the little rascal at home  :)  Just thought more kids were coming from the way the thread was goin.  See you all next time!

Awesome riding today with everyone.Kewl riding with new people also.You guys-and girls- will always have a good group to ride with if everyone keeps in touch.We found the best trail today...marked it in my memory.
  I'll need to carpool for awhile...that gas up there is murder on my Tahoe.Can't wait to ride again...I hope everyone makes it next time!!

Yeah it was my first time up there too and man was it fun. It was great meeting some new people including johnyfz450, What up John! Man you rode the hell out of them whoops! All the guys we rode with were really good riders and we found some sweet trails! Man I can't wait to  go back again. That place rocks! My first time riding 5th gear trails and now I am hooked! Long live ONF! ;D

I had a great time, first time doing the group thing and it ws cool. Bunch of good people I'd have to say, Thanks for waiting on us slow guys (and gals). I didn't do too bad for a utility I guess. Anyone going out there today that finds a kidney it probably belongs to me! Anyone going next time that could meet in Pasco area that wants to hitch a ride is more than welcome, I've got a 24' trailer that we could load alot of bikes on and save some gas

It's alot of things bro.Money, no time to ride, having to go 2 hours to ride.My newborn is gonna be here in a week.My quad will just sit there; and I hate having a toy and not being able to play with it.
 At least a streetbike, I can ride it right out of my driveway.
