Myself and a few of pals are heading out to QuickTraxx in Lakeland this w/e. If anyone hasn't been in awhile the track is much better than it was a couple of months ago. 2 weeks ago there were about 12 quads out there so hopefully it'll be better this w/e.

I heard that it's a pretty technical track, and not very quad friendly.

Someone said they paid there money and only got to do like 3 sessions.


Anyone have any input, good or bad?

i would go if it wasnt on saterday. thats race day
 sunday is practice day for me :-\

It's a technical track but like Jake said the jumps are makeable. I don't know who said that it wasn't quad friendly because it is. NO RUTS IN THE JUMPS and the track is wide enough in some places for 3 bikes. Some spots are alil rough and it beats you up alil but that's Motorcross. As for the sessions, we ran every 30mins (15 minutes per group). Small bikes, big bikes, and quads.

so pretty much if jake goes, then u can expect 3 maybe 4 other riders  ;)

Yep... That's been quite awhile. And you've gotten much better since then so I won't be so close to you this time. Get the Mav to come over as well. Riding behind you guys I may get the balls to hit those doubles  ;)  .

Where is the Lakeland Track at again? Is it out by the USA International Speedway?

Yes it is. I might head out there saturday, not sure yet.

Awww Jake, that was cold man. I jump alil :D . With you, TRX#9, Mav (if he shows), and the rest of the fellas I'll get the confidence to do it. One of you guys is going to have to give me some pointers though to get my confidence up to hit those doubles. Everything else out there I have no problem with.

im bringing 3 guys and hondarider, #26, TRX#9 and a few others should be a good turnout i guess. should have atleast 10 quads

dont worry ride1rob, i didnt jump anything untill about 3 weeks ago!!!  once you build up some confidence you will be out there jumping a lot more!  

ya eric you havent lapped me!!!  and that was when i was slower, now your gonna have to keep lookuing back cause ill be right behind you the whole time!! :P......or maybe half of the 1st lap we get out there!!! :D

ok josh im 100% sure he lapped you at sunshine ::) and josh just because a double at bartow thats 10ft. long doesnt mean your the best. :P when you hit the triple then you will be the best. lol

i never said i was the best!! but i have gotten a lot faster!!!  and eric never lapped me at sunshine....at lest not when i had my suspension!   ohh and i will defintaly hit the triple, but i still wont be the best :P

well u got a lot better from how u used to ride, which puts u at what.....BAD! haha jk josh, do u have a ride saturday, i wanted to take the quad and the db so i wouldnt have room but i havent decided yet  ::)

That's cool Jake! You guys are talking about riding right? To me it's building up the intensity for this w/e  >:D  . Dorian (Blindkaeta) and some others are supposed to be coming over as well. It should be a nice turnout when we factor in the other quads that show up there anyway. Think I'm going to soften my suspension up b/c last time out there I got beat to death.

yeah we are talking about riding ;) i cant wait should be fun. im going 2 bartow on friday quick on saterday and saterday night im racing bartow. and sunday im going 2 inverness 2 ride at a freinds track. what a great weekend. 8)

We will be there also. Lyndon rode the track about a month ago and really liked it. It is quad friendly and really a decent track now. Maybe we can put some canopies together and have some shade for us older ones.

we will have our generator and a fan....and we would have a tent but thanks to a little rain and wind at bartow last week we dont have it anymore  :'(

That's great Don. Seems like this may be a nice turnout. We may just outnumber the dirtbikes the way this thing is going  8)  .

I'm going to try to make this one. My son went out of this week with his mom to Pa. So I might be coming with Blindkatea just have to see on how my day goes.  ;D

Hopefully the track will be dry tomorrow, sometimes the owner waters the hell out of the track and plus with the rain. :(

The track is nice Brett, a lot better than it was for the ftr race. They also said they are changing it again, I think there going to make it bigger. :o

Cool!  If they could get 2 to 2:15 lap times that would be great.

Wish I could have been there.  Bike is down and I had to work. 

I don't think there's a track in florida thats a 2:15 lap time. Gainsville is about a 2:00 lap time. but I guess if you ride slow enough you can run a 2:15 anywere. lol;

The track was nice today. No water ANYWHERE! We had a nice turnout of quads too. Those doubles aren't as intimidating to me as they were my last time out. My rear tires are landing on the tops and my front tires on the down side :-\ . Next time out I'll be clearing them all the way ;) .

ya it was a great day...even tought i didnt ride :'(   but i did get some video.

Ya it was great even though it ended kind of soon for me  :'( stupid Gforce!  Turns out i cracked the swinger, shattered my bearings and broke the axle  ??? I'll get the video up soon but I loved the track. I felt really good on it
