Title: to much oil ??? Post by: rubicon500kid on June 09, 2006, 07:21:23 PM ok my friend changed the oil in his 400ex and it has fouled 2 spark plugs but ran perfect befor he changed the oil so he checked his oil and it was over the high level would this cause his bike to smoke a tiny pit at start and foul his plug ????

Post by: Fox17 on June 10, 2006, 07:26:32 PM 3 quarts of oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats way too much. my 300ex only takes 1.6 quarts. that would make it smoke i think but dont no bout the spark plug.
