my frame is cracked in 8 places. all different than the last time :(

Dang what the hell are you doing to your quads?  When will you be back in action?

you shouldn't be practicing  by dropping your quad off a 100' cliff.

i geuss i did it in kentucky on my vacation and its a 04 450r

man thas a nice bike!!! if it cant be fixed or its really expensive look at rolldesign they have a realy sweet frame for a 450r.

ill look at it but i will also look for your wallet to pay for it

8 places?  That's insance...what did they use to do the welds, candle wax?

I'd have to fire off a letter to the engineering department at Honda on that one.

The integrity of those welds, being as suspect as you say they are, need to be put to the attention of a company as big as Honda.

Dreth, I agree with Unclerico, and Ida.
 You should write a letter to Honda on this one, But DONT mention the fact that you might possibly have raced it,, ( Its a TRAIL bike) ;)


 I might be able to get you some assistance in writting a letter if needed, my sister is an attorney, ( Family law ) But she still handles things like this occasionally

I would definitely get in touch with Honda on this. Show them the engineers aren't done yet.

yea i agree with the last 4 people, tell honda bout this. i would be a little pissed off if i bought a race bike and it broke after racing.

Well thats the whole  thing, these bikes are sold as stock bikes, that could be almost race ready. They will say that you didnt do the necessary upgrades to "race", all they need to know is that it is a"trail" bike with a number plate to look cool.
 But deffinately get a hold of Yamaha on it before it gets too far along

The welds don't break the frame does. Mine is craked in half at the the right upper mount and almost crack all the way through in the same spot on the left.

y didnt they make them more durable??? soon people arent gonna be buying them if this keeps happening.

sounds like you could use the welder/powdercoating hook up
