Title: cut fenders?
Post by: KD 428 on May 23, 2006, 09:26:24 PM
I was thinking about cutting my fenders. I was wondering if it is ok to do? Will i get a mouthful of dirt when i turn, or is it not that bad?

any advice will be greatly appreciated.

                                                          thanks

well the fenders dont realy cover that much in the first place and it looks so much beter on certain bikes, what kind of bike are you cuting the fenders on?

Yeah, the fenders on the Blaster pretty much cover the tire completly due to its narrow width up front. If you cut the fenders you will be getting more dirt sprayed up on you when your turning and your tires hook up. Just ride a Z400 or something similar thats has tires that strech out wider than the fenders and you will see way more dirt headed your way when you turn as opposed to being on a Blaster.
