Title: Tire Suggestions for Clay
Post by: Jdub28 on January 09, 2005, 07:49:36 PM
Looking for a tire that will perfom good in gooey clay. As you can see below the stock dunlops on the king quad just aren't cutting it in the GA clay. That sfuffs slicker than cat S%!@ and gets on everything!

I dont know much about clay, but my highlifter outlaws are self cleaning and throw the mud off pretty well. You also might want to spray some silicone on your tires before you ride. Also helps keep the mud off.

Yeah we've got a hunting lease in GA just north of Richland.

How are the GBC Gators? I've found some good prices on them, almost half of what the outlaws are running. Are the outlaws worth the extra price?

What about the ITP 589MS or the Goodyear Mudrunner.

Also does anyone know what the max tire size the KQ will take?

Thanks

gators are a good tire, especially for the price. They clean really well, and pull strong.(not as good as outlaws though)
