I don't think you can go wrong no matter which you choose, as long as it's set up for your weight/riding. People will claim one is better than the other, but it's a matter of preference and how much you want to pay. My opinion of course

Anything aftermarket is better than stock if you are just trail riding and want better but don't want to spend a lot. Works shocks would be fine for that.If you want to start racing then I would go with Fox Shox or PEP. They are relatively the same price range. PEP's are a much longer wait though. I just put my stadiums on my bike and they are amazing, and i wouldnt trade them for any elkas out there....

Ohlins sounds nice, alot of pro's run them, they are part owned by yamaha....But any aftermarket shock is better than stock. Theyre are almost too many too choose from ??? ???...But thats good in a way
