Title: Aluminum wheel cleaner Post by: sandmanfl on May 11, 2006, 02:36:20 PM My grandson sprayed wheel cleaner on his new encine at it turned dark grey in some areas .Does any body know if there is anything he can use to get it back to the original.This picture is before spray

Simple mistake, made the same mistake on my 86 250r. Gave me a reason to put in about 25hours of polishing time, but after that it was show quality.

You just rub it in and it removes the water stains and oxidation on the aluminum. I got it at Bass Pro Shops and it really works well. I am not sure of the name brand but I assume you could get it at any boat shop.
