Title: Aluminum wheel cleaner

My grandson sprayed wheel cleaner on his new encine at it turned dark grey in some areas .Does any body know if there is anything he can use to get it back to the original.This picture is before spray

buffing wheel on a dremel, polishing compound & a few hours of sweat & curse words. Simple mistake, made the same mistake on my 86 250r. Gave me a reason to put in about 25hours of polishing time, but after that it was show quality.

You will have to re-polish it, but the up side is, it will look better if done well.

Not sure if this will help but I have an aluminum bass boat that I polish up with a paste like polish.  You just rub it in and it removes the water stains and oxidation on the aluminum.  I got it at Bass Pro Shops and it really works well.  I am not sure of the name brand but I assume you could get it at any boat shop.

Thanks everybody I broke the bad news to him.His dad told him if he wants it in new frame start polishing.
