Did anyone ride the Big Cypress over Easter weekend?

No, but we are planning on going there for the first time this weekend.  If anyone has any helpful tips I would greatly appreciate it.  We are planning on camping somewhere out in that area for the weekend.

Zoomer:

I'd park at the Oasis Ranger station and head north east from there. About 5 miles or so in there are a number of nice pine islands that are good for camping. Be sure to bring your gps and a compass. Cell phones usually don't work too well once you get in about 3 miles or so.

It is extremely dry right now so you will want to talk to the park rangers about allowing camp fires. Also, this time of year, the deer flys are horrendous and the snakes are really active. Be careful and have a good time.
