Title: I see paddles Post by: Flea_Jumper on January 25, 2005, 05:22:59 PM I have seen quit a few bikes on this forum that have paddles. Being from Cali that is pretty much all we used. I have yet to find an area in Florida that has that much sand.

A weekend of swimming and riding ;D June is way to far out. I guess you have never been to Jasper or you would understand. You can go all the way to the Suwannee river and swim there. Last year we even camped out on the riverbed. It was cool that night also because of how it sits down in the valley and the sand having the river flowing through it most of the year I guess also. Even though it was as dry as the beach. Or would we risk getting the place shut down? Its like 12 miles south of the bridge and 4 miles north of the bridge. Probably to many quads at one time. I think we had 35 quads last year on one ride. Plus there were other quads out there. Its a trek south and back or trek north and back. Yea the group we had last year of about 35 or so riders was about as big as it could handle without becoming an issue. There is deffinately only so much room to park without getting in trouble with the law.

I cant find any hills in Florida and the only sand has been in Lakeland which really wasent much. How far from Orlando is Jasper and Rodman?

Its best to just keep it going just over a high idle. Just enough to keep your truck moving.
