My family drag race snowmoblies as a sport. We ride snomobiles from The U.P. of Michigan to Ohio on trails and highways. We travel at speeds of 55 to 75 miles an hour. Snow is not required. It is nothing new. Title: Re: Snowmobiling Florida Post by: 53yfz450 on April 01, 2006, 09:51:54 PM every one i talk to says you will melt the sliders ??? unless you can get special ones. :-\ hey i dont know that much about snowmobiles just telling you what i heard. :P
Title: Re: Snowmobiling Florida Post by: mainetoo2005 on April 02, 2006, 09:51:35 PM We used to run our snow machines across open water. They go great! Don't stop though. We also use to grass drag. We mixed up some soapy water and poured it on the inside of the track and off we went. No slider meltdowns.
