WHO IS GOING TO CROOM SPRING BREAK? I WILL GET THERE ETHIER TUESDAY OR WEDNSDAY AND LEAVE FRIDAY, HOW BOUT U GUYS? ITS APRIL 11-14th THAT WE WILL BE GETTIN THERE...

It'll probably be me, my dad, and my little brother.  My sister might possibly go.

whats the best place to stay at when going there

Either camp there, or there's 2 hotels right at the entrance of the park, and I'm talking right there.

I AM STAYING AT THE BEST WESTERN.... ITS CHEAPER!

yea thats where i stay... and theres no parking for trailers at the one next to it

Well we're gonna be paying for the permits, so we gotta save a some $$ by camping at the park.  Anyone know if they allow camp fires in the campground, any general rules?

there realy arent alot of rules, and wutever rules there arent realy enforced...

thay have never checked my spark arester...


and most of the time we just drive rite by the gate just by holding up 4 fingers for 4 bikes and they dont even check the stickers!!! lol

Nah I'm talking about that, and yes there are rules, like wearing a helmet and not riding double.  I'm saying for camping, you can make a fire right?  And are there hours for when you can ride, or can ride all night if you want?

Camp fire yes       rideing all night nooooooooooooooo....half hour before sunrise     half hour after sunset.....

That works for me, we stop riding before the sun goes down anyways, to get the fire going and everything.  You know, camping has it's downsides, but I kinda like it better in some ways too.

If I go to set up my bike. I will be on a blue YFZ with yellow gear in the Day area.  If any of you guys want to go around the FTR track with me, that would be awesome so we could make it wide enough for quads.

Ill be driving my grey lightning up there. If I go, it will be wednesday.

ok we will probly park out at the hammocks and ride the trails down to the sand hill, so if we see you we will come say hey ok !! i will be on my raptor 350 or a dirt bike i might borrow from a friend and thats a ktm 125, my dad will ethier ride mine or his 250 ex, rad 700r will be riding his raptor or blaster, his little brother will ride a raptor 80 probly toomey an his rm 250 and his dad on a 400 ex, and maybe some neighbors will be with us?

Oh, if we're riding from the camping area out to the sand hill, I'll probably get there 15 minutes before the rest of the gang, so keep an eye for me, alright svtbolt04?  :D  Unless you've got some tricks up your sleeve with that 125 Dustin!  :D

*Edit* - I might have to change my plug a couple of times on the way there, so they might be able to keep up with me in the end!  :D

Ill be there before toomey gets there :D haha, ya maybe 5 minutes behind him. But uh one question, where and what is the FTR track, sorry but i dont know but it sounds intreasting.

Right on guys, ill be there around 8 or 9am wednesday morning and I will be running the FTR trail alot of the day.

Of course, the day I have barely any money, I decide to head to croom.. Only to find that you guys werent there.

Depends, its a 3 hours drive for me. Also, its not that dusty.

Hey atleast you got some practice time. Youll proly smoke us on the trails anyways lol but its always fun to ride with more people.

i might be able to go up around easter i got like 4 days off around easter not sure exactly when

i got a broken ankle right now but i am still going to go riding no matter what, even if i have to cut this d@mn cast off, but we can only go this next week because this is our spring break and i can afford to miss any days from school any more but that would be a great time because thats the time around easter i will be getting my cast off but to bad, just gotta go ride!!

Do the hotels get full this time of year?  My dad is thinking of possibly getting a room with some points or something that he has, should I tell him to hurry it up if he's going to?  I wanna camp though, so maybe not.... But on the other hand, I want my bisquits with sausage gravy!

Alright, we're staying at the Hampton Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  We're leaving Tuesday morning around 5am, I'd like to leave earlier though, like 3am.  In any case we should be there by 10am or earlier on Tuesday.  I'm picking up a pair of boots in Sebring though, some Fox Forma Pro's, much better than the falling apart Elememts I have now.
We might possibly leave on Monday though and camp that night, depending on how busy my dad is that day and what we decide.

What do you mean by leaving at 6?  Monday night or Tuesday morning?  And yeah, I got up preety early today.

Alright, so we might get there a little earlier.  I'm trying to get this thing finished with the engine on the RM to make it stop fouling plugs, I'm preety sure it's leaking tranny oil into the engine, so hopefully I'll have that done in time.  If not, I'll probably go through 20 plugs.  :P
So Dustin, what are you doing with the cast so far, cutting it, or riding with it?

right know i could shift with the cast, but if this thing starts to annoy me i'll have go over to OAS and ask bob to cut it off ...

Yeah Ryan, finished the the leaky seal last minute.  Actually I still have to finish up the bike, pack everything, and try to get some rest.  Man I started this new job, Sat, Sun, and Monday were all work all day.  :'(  More money for the dirt bike I guess, or a CR500.  8)
