Title: sport or utility? Post by: wired2ride on February 13, 2005, 09:45:43 AM well im wondering which to go with. I really want to go towards a sport. but hten theres limited places i can go. i live next to lake washington which connects to uh st. johns river so its wet and 4 wheelers heaven. There seems to be alot of places to utility atvs around also..plus utilitys dont take to much to make them a beast.. good tires + a snorkle maybe and your ready to take on most htings.. sport is alot of money if i want to turn into a fast bike and maybe race..
any ideas? Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: Kawa3 on February 13, 2005, 09:49:49 AM what kind of riding do you do, any jumpin, freestyle? if you do just wheelies utilitys can do that and go more places than a sport.

Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: wired2ride on February 13, 2005, 12:53:09 PM would i go wrong with a honda foreman 4x4?? i like those, they seem pretty beasty. i watched a guy do all kinds of nuts stuff on it. water wheelies to land fro 30 feet. he was going through 4 feet of water easy 2
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: Seabee on February 13, 2005, 12:55:10 PM Well then, get you a sport, especially if you are planning on keeping that Magnum.
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: Kawa3 on February 13, 2005, 12:55:39 PM From the sounds of it i would get a utility...you would have to do lots of cleaning on a sport in that area
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: wired2ride on February 13, 2005, 01:08:51 PM lol.. yep alots and lots. its fun though.. nothing like getting muddy.. one time 3 of my frineds came over from being out there. they were black all black. one guy had like a 5 lb hat frm all the mud.. one guy had a white shirt but you coldnt tell
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: MadMudder on February 13, 2005, 06:59:45 PM I'd go with the utility if you are wanting to be able to ride around your house. Playin in the mud is like getting crack, do it once and your hooked. ;D The foreman is a good bike that will run forever. If you are getting a new one it has been turned in to a 500 now. Get the utility.
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: GaryinSeffner on February 13, 2005, 07:19:30 PM get a utility. Sounds like a sport bike wouldnt get you very far in your area. Sure you could go fast but thats not gonna matter when you sink a sport bike haha. Get you a utility an dig it up!! Honda is a good choice and the foreman 500 will do plenty of damage! Get you a 4x4 and have fun sprayin your sisters on that 325!! ;D
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: stewww on February 14, 2005, 08:28:32 AM Get a Kawi Brute Force.
tears up the mud, can do wheelies all day long (with out water) and still run in the 60's mph .. ;D http://community.webshots.com/photo/201605093/273309389mwZoSM my 29.5's are on the way too [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif] Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: GregsRancher on February 14, 2005, 09:38:06 AM definetly utility ...we live in a swamp its just so much fun to get in the mud and not have it spray all over you like a sport bike. not getting stuck is nice too
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: wired2ride on February 14, 2005, 01:57:08 PM thanks. I amy get the honda foreman 450es 4x4 its like $600 cheaper then the 2005 and thats money for tires and snorkle
Title: Re: sport or utility? Post by: Deadmullet on February 14, 2005, 02:22:26 PM Go with the 2005- it has a all new motor and all new suspension plus Honda finally put disc brakes up front so you can finally stop.
