well guys last night i broke my wrist on the track. this sucks because now i cant go to maryland for the national :'( but worst of all i was going to go and ride with my favorite pro and now i cant do that. :'(

i thought i would shar my pain. oh and it hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :Dead.gif :banghead.gif

and when i went to school this morning to take exams i was still hopped up on pain medacine considering i didnt get home untill 1:00 last night and had to wake up at 6:00 and i went to school all :Wacko.gif

too bad i didnt see the crash!!!

i wish i wasnt so far ahead of you that i could of seen it!!! :-\

yeah right. atleast you got too smell what u4 smells like. :o

actually my dad buggy runs that so i can smell it when ever i want :P

how did you break it(fall,landing,etc.)

for some odd reason i slowed down before the jump and when i relized it was too late i gave it gas but came up short. it wasnt that bad of a landing my shocks absored the impact its just my hand was about an inch off the bars and all that force just snapped it i guess. ???

Which table did you break your wrist on?

8 weeks. considering i cam up short it was the single table. i dont think you can break your wrist coming up short on just  a table. unless its like 90ft. :D

What!!!!  Man that's crazy I thought those single tables are harmless :o

jake what track were you ridin?

dude im not trying to be mean but you have to actually race. i know you tried but you didnt even finish both motos. if you really want to be a good rider you have to get some seat time in you werent even riding last night. the more you ride the bettter you will get.

did you get your motor. :-\ but hey i was riding really good last night untill the 2nd practice. i was doubling the whoops. 8) i wish you were there so i can get some practice with a fast rider. ;) but woody gave me some good comp. ::)

My bike is still in the shop. :N  Fred forgot to put in Brakelines & I got the wrong size tie-rods ::)  The '05's & '06's have a diffrent thickness ball joint ::)

Which bones did you break in your wrist? I'm going back to the ortho tomorow and getting my elbow, wrists, and ankles checked out again. I broke both wrists and ankles, and now my elbow's been killing. Just a word of advice, if you broke your wrist at the joint, or near the hand, wait the full 8 weeks.

its a shame to hear about ur wrist, i have broken it to, but not on the track, so i feel ur pain!! :Dead.gif

your bike still in the shop. i could have put it together in an hour.

its the one next to my growth plate. i will wait the 8 weeks. ;)

Sorry to hear the bad news man, The first time i went and rode at a motocross track i broke my left arm , close to the wrist, im also left Handed . It was the weekend before my exams too. It was really frustrating.  In a very small way i kinda know how you feal.

Sorry to hear about your injury.  I know it's got to suck not being able to get in there and do what you love.  Most of us are use to playing hurt but messing w/ a broken bone near a growth plate would be bad.  Very very bad!  I hope you heal quickly so you can get back on the horse and tear it up!

 ;D  Well that sucks.  Hate to see you guys get hurt but the facts are you and Cody are riding way more and doing more and more jumps its an odds game.  I have had the pleasure of seeing you and Cody mature in the last year with your riding and you are so close to being able to hit the Nationals that this really, really sucks.  All I can say is SORRY.  I know how much you were looking forward to it but just get your rest and heal up correctly it will pay off in the long run.

its heald. well kind of. they took my cast off and put me in a brace. i saw the x ray and it was back to normal. he still wants me to come back in 3 weeks. he told me to stay off the bike for a while because its still tender. i also found out what caused it. a few weeks before i landed pretty hard and he thinks i may have started a crack and this jump just finished it. oh well 2 more weeks and im back on.


oh and the doctor couldnt beleive it heald so quick. he was sqeezing it and tapping it and i felt no pain. he was so amazed. i heal quick. plus i drank a gallon of milk a day. :P

congrats jake...getting closer and closer, only a little bit longer  ;)
