Title: jeting for a 400ex with a hmf slip on

ok im buying a hmf slip on for my 400ex and it comes with a a jet for it.
it is a 175                  but they recomand      165/170 Keihin Hex

i need sum help cuz i dont wannn have to buy a jet kit

If it comes with a jet with it then doesn't that mean that is what it will run with best. If HMF is sending you a 175 they aren't doing it for nothing.... Besides don't you have an R4 like is says in your sig.

i bought a two brothers for mine and it came with a 172 main i put it in there threw out the airbox lid and it runs perfect.

how much did u pay for ur pipe is it a slip on or a full pipe

they say to run the 175 w/o the air box lid so it looks like im going to have to buy a jet kit too

Why do you have to buy a jet kit? Take the airbox lid off slap the jet in problem solved.

Sport bikes dont have the enclosed, or atleast, as enclosed bearings as a UTE would... You are ruining the bike I hope you know..

ya efren keep the air box on for the riding u do and just throw the jet in it should be fine. ;)

how am i ruining the bike yea ill have to replace my baerings more often
also how dose this deal with the Q i asked
