Title: st. lucie county fair ....sheriff explorers
Post by: lonewolf310 on March 05, 2006, 08:54:32 AM
Wife and I went to the St. lucie county Fair on Sat. evening.
We were shocked to see not one person on the st. lucie county sherriff  explores riding atv wearing helmets.
some of these people were teenagers and adults.
i think the sherrif should have that be mandatory equipment to ride.

 what do you think?

Most definitely,

At least one of those half clam type, so they could still hear good.
They should be setting an example more than anyone. To a little person, any uniform represents all uniforms, so they are in the eye of our future generations.

PBSO policy requires us to wear helmets. We have the shorty type (half shell). I agree, it's our place to set an example by wearing boots, gloves, helmet and eye protection.
