Title: PayPal spoofs Post by: yunt2ride on February 23, 2006, 08:10:34 PM Be careful with paypal scams. I got this email today and now people have figured out how to get your paypal name and will send you an email using your real name now. That used to be how you could tell if the email was from paypal or not. I checked my paypal account before messing with the email and saw that it had not been payed out of my account. I called paypal and they said to forward it to them at spoof@paypal.com. The lady said that these scammers have started sending your name with the email to make it look more official. They have gotten plenty of things like that lately. She also said that paypal will never ask for any of your personal information.
